mirena removal...Could I be pregnant?
Mirena removal and my period what is what please help?
Okay I have two children ages five and four. I had a mirena in and just took it out had it in dec 23- march 28 ok , I started having unprotected sex the day of the removal. on March 31st I spotted a little then April 1 st i spotted and the 2nd of april It seemed like a normal period. nothing too heavy but continued to have unprotected sex. On the sixth of april my period totally disappeared. Haven't seen again. I ovulated the week of the 15th. fever and etc. today I was having really bad cramps and a fever could this be from fertilization and I am noticing because I have learned my body? or is it all in my head. remind you this is the seventh - tenth day after ovulation. When should I test? I don't want to keep wasting money but at the same time my boyfriend is convinced I am pregnant but i don't want to jump to conclusions only to be disappointed. Please help! I am sensitive to odors, vomiting all hours, tired , slight fever, and lots of spit. whats up with me??

I also had random symptoms after removal however mine turned out to be true. We were trying to concieve so it was a blessing. I did not test positive on HPT until about 6w and I was talking them regularly.
I concieved around 3 weeks after removal and everything is progressing as it should. I was spending big $$$ on HPT as my body felt like it could be pregnant. I was getting disappointed everytime I saw BFN. With my period being a no show I was quite upset that my body was going crazy and I might not be able to concieve anytime soon. Goes to show that you need to just listen to your body.

i had a rollercoaster of symptoms for a couple of months after having my mirena taken out. I think it's because our bodies need time to adjust to the horomonal shift that going off the mirena causes. Also it's normal for your periods to be wacky for a few months and to have breakthrough spotting inbetween at random times as well. If you still feel pregnant in a week test then and see what happens good luck
