Hello,
If Vitamin B is waht you are looking for, I suggest you eat spinach.
I love it, my salads at work at least literlaly are just two cups of spinach..
I dont eat it every day but atl east 4 days a weeks.. Look up the nutritional value in 1 cup of spinach. It is really high in folic acid (folate), it has 4 types of vitamin b, as well as many other vitamins and minerals such as calcium, magnesium, zinc, vitamin c.. all the good stuff
Sarah61086- good luck!!! :)
hopefullady- I have just started taking a prenatal tablet called Elevit, that has vitamin B but i just dont know if it has enough to help with my luteal phase.
emw11-congratulations!!! :) hopefully the Elevit helps with my cycle before the i se ethe doctor..
thank you all so much for your replys. : )
I have an extremely short luteal phase 7 days it is extremely difficult to fall pregnant, i have been charting and still nothing.
The reason for chlomid is to help with lengthening my luteal phase.
i had that problem where i ovulated late too. my cycles were 34 days and i would count back from the 34th day 10-14 numbers and it worked. i didnt realize i was ovulating late till a doctor told me i would ovulate later in the month because my cycles were so long. but now i am 6 weeks pregnant. i started taking prenatels before i concieved because i knew my body wasnt extremely healthy especially since i had part of my ovary removed in june. but i just waited until the last week of october and tried everyday then 13dpo i got my bfp which was one day before my period was due. i wish you the best of luck!
the time after ovulating is called the Luteal phase. If the luteal phase is less than 10 days, then it can get difficult to get pregnant.
For example, if you have a 28 day cycle and you ovulate on CD18 or CD19, then fertilization and implantation which takes 7-10 days, may not happen before the next period begins.
I was told that vitamin B's (the combination of all vit B's) helps to lengthen the luteal phase, and improves your chances of conception. I remember my cycles became shorter around 25-28 day, and since I always ovulated on CD 15/CD16, I took Vitamin B's regularly and it helped.
Hope this helps! Good Luck.
I dont think there is away you can bring it forward, unless you are put on meds.
I myself having been trying for year. I have very irregular and long periods, so i use OPK's.
The turn positive when i will be ovulating in the net 12-36hrs. So it helps me increase my chances. No luck as of yet though, but at least i know when to try for a baby :-)
Im due AF monday so fingers crossed it doesnt come.
If this time doesnt work, im going to ask my DR for clomid to as like you, i am running out of options.
Good luck.
I completely agree with sherrycoup. I ovulate anywhere between 15 and 20 days, but I wouldn't know this if I hadn't started charting my BBTs. I know you're frustrated, but Please track it for at least three months and note the various fertility signs (FAM) before resorting to prescriptions. I can certainly help with charting questions!
if you are ovulating why do you want to be on clomid??? It would just be a timing issue with you. I don't ovulate until cd 19-22. Not everyone O's at cd 14. Depends on your cycle length. YOu should keep track of your temps to give you a better idea of when you actualy ovualte.
