can you get pregnant if your not ovulating?

Hi there.
Your answer to the question posted by shay274, that sperm can live inside of you for days then when u start ovulating it then can do its thing from then on??

I had unprotected sex recently and Im freaking out that I might get pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im not sure if im ovulating BUT If im not, then could taking a contraceptive pill help my changes while I wait for my period??

Well, it depends on the meaning of the question. There could be two possible answers.

The first answer would be the one Alaysha gave you.  If you just do not ovulate, then no you cant get pregnant.

If you mean that can you pregnant during the time of month when your not supposed to ovulate, the question is yes.  Sperm can  live inside of you for days, and if you have sex when your not ovulating, there is stilla chance of sperm being up there to fertilze the egg when you do ovulate.

No. Ovulating means you drop an egg and without an egg you cannot conceive a child.
