I used Tums when I felt sick along with little, very little sips of water, or ice chips. I would also lay down after I took the Tums and it always helped me when my tummy got uneay. Tums are also my best friend now that I am having heartburn like crazy lol.
Most OBs/midwives can give you a list of over-the-counter medications that are safe to take during pregnancy. Always check if you're unsure though; it's always safer to avoid it completely if you don't know if it will harm the baby.
I have a safe medications list from my doctor and it says emotrol can be taken for nausea.
I posted on your other thread. No, pepto bismol is not safe to take while pregnant. You need to call your OB/Midwife and tell them you're having morning sickness. They can give you a prescription for medicine to help if it's severe.
The bottle of pepto that I got said to not take it of pregnant or breastfeeding
I don't think so. Crackers and ginger...I survived off of Canada Dry ginger ale for awhile. Sounds like morning sickness, it should pass after the first trimester, but if it's horrible you might see your doctor for a prescription that's safe during pregancy.
