if my baby measures 11 weeks 5 days by crl is this when i conceived or two weeks after i think the crl has gone by my last period!x

Yeah thanks for your help. I think I know its my babys dads who I'm with now as whith previous partner its far to early to conceive a day after my period finished as my lmp is every 28-30 days so I have iregular periods and with my klast son I conceived roughly two weeks after I just still worry! And I'm shocked to as took just over two years for us to conceive again! Thanks for ur help I understand now x

As petite said, when you do an ultrasound the 2 weeks have already been added. So if the baby is 11 weeks 5 days it means the baby is actually 9 weeks 5 days, give or take a few days. In a situation where paternity is an issue, DNA testing is the only route you can choose. This is not something you want to guess or speculate about.

the ultrasound still dates it back an extra two weeks.. its really confusing but if the ultra reads 11 weeks 5 days then you really conceived 9 weeks 5 days ago approximately....

Nooo lol sorry didnt explain properly my last lmp was 11th july my cycles are every 28-30 days and i bleed for 3-4 days each month i had sex with my previous partner on 16th july a day before my period finished, then got back with my babys dad on 20th july and we had sex mainly every two days.. at my ultrasound my crl was measuring 11wks5days which put the dates at 15th july.. i asked her what my conception dates were and she said the ultrasound put my conception dates at roughly around the end of july im confused why people are saying crl measurements 11weeks5days is when i conceived!

You need to be ovulating to conceive. Most women ovulate mid cycle. So it depends how long your cycles usually last. Sperm can live around 5 days in there, and it takes about a week or so for the fertilised egg to implant. Since your LMP was 11th July, and you had intercourse on the 20th and 16th of July, the dates are WAY too close together to be able to tell who the father is. You really do just need to wait until baby is born and have a DNA test.

yeah its a paternal issue as i split up from my sons dad of 4 years but we got back together on 20th july but i had a new partner but my last lmp was 11th july from ultrasound dateing from crl im 11 wks 5days i last slept with my previous partner on 16th july a day after my period had finished! but i got told from crl goes by from last lmp so basicly i never conceived two weeks after that date which i will be prefectly fine then! its just so worrying and im sure im not the only one in this situation :(

I'm the same as you......the 1st day if my last period was July 10. But after an ultrasound, because the size of the baby, they bumped my date back bout 2 weeks. So now if I went back to check my dates with new due date to me things don't add up. Becuase we've been ttc for a long time now I pretty much mark on a calendar a lot of my female issues. Like when my hubby & I had sex, or cramping today, or spotting today, etc. But of well. I don't care really care how far along I am as long as baby stays in there. With ny sin they changed my date 3 times cuz I have PCOS, then he was premature anyways so there ya go.

At first, doctors use your LMP (last month period) to date pregnancy until you get a dating ultrasound which is most accurate. There is no way to tell exactly when you conceived but by measuring a few different things then that's how old they see the baby as.

If this is for a paternal issue then a DNA test when baby is born is the only way to tell.

but ive looked up on internet and some people are saying crl measurements is when you conceived but my last period was 11th july the ultrasound put my last poeriod at 15th july and also crl measurements are at 15th july so confusein lol x
