pregnancy and hcg level at 11 dpo

I had a blood test done yesterday at 11 Dpo and it was at 23.  My family doctor is the one who did it to confirm pregnancy.  He said that is a gray area and for me to try and stay calm!  I was wondering if anyone else had a level around this at 11 Dpo and went on with a normal pregnancy or was it a sign of an early MC?  Thanks for any and all replies in advance.  I'm trying to relax and not stress out.  But I had to MC's 4 years ago and am scared it will happen again.

Thanks

Thank you, very much for all of you answering my question.  The doctor did put me on prometrium 200mg. a day, but I took a hpt today and the pink line is light.  I wonder if your levels start to decrease before taking the prometrium can a pregnancy still continue?  meaning could the prometrium bring the levels up after they go down, or does it always result in MC?

Thanks

From my last couple pregnancies I can tell you that:

Baby #3 (pregnancy 4) was hcg of 18 at 9dpo (baby boy)
Baby #4 (current-pregnancy #6) was hcg of 48 at 9dpo

If you think of it this way...most poas tests won't show positive until around a level of 25 and most women aren't having super early pregnancy tests that are positive.  You were still a few days before your period!  I think your level is great!

Well your levels have to start somewhere.  I would have them rechecked in 48 hrs to see if they double and have your progesterone level checked.  You are still very early so I wouldnt worry about it just yet.  Good luck.
