pregnancy and muscle relaxers

My doctor prescribed me muscle relaxers for my back since I have slight scoliosis and can't even lay flat on my back without the pain being almost unbearable. I'm in my third trimester so it's only going to worsen. I have reserves about taking them and the pharmacist did too but my OB gave me the go ahead As Needed Only. I was wondering if your doctor's have done the same and if so, how or Has it effected your baby in Any way?

I'm on the exactly same thing. Just worried since I'm a first time mom. I took one earlier and my body feels relaxed and my baby is still moving around which is a good sign to me (: I just hope it works. I really can't afford a chiropractor again but I hate medicines if I can avoid them. Thank you !

I'm on cyclobenzaprine which is a muscle relaxer. I'm on it to help me sleep though. I have had no issues and my baby has been healthy my whole pregnancy. If your ob says it's okay that means the benefits outweigh the risks. If you think only taking it when needed is best and it works okay for you then I'd do that.
