pregnancy at last...

Hi, I'm almost 25 and was diagnosed with endometriosis around 4 years ago. I had surgery last November to remove my right fallopian tube since it was so damaged from previous surgeries and also a small tumor had appeared on the right ovary. Since it was caught early, nothing else had to be removed.
I have been trying to conceive with my fiancee for around 3 years with no luck. Now, astonishingly, I took a pregnancy test last saturday and it was positive!!! We are very, very happy as I had lost all hope. However, I now feel scared and worried in case this will be dangerous.
I have an appointment at the doctors tomorrow, but would be extremely greatful to hear from any one who has gone through something similar? How closely monitored was your pergnancy? How big are the risks? Is it possible to have a completely natural and healthy pregnancy after problems such as mine?
Thanks.

My sister had the same problem. but they told her even after surgery there was NO chance of her getting pregnant - (she had endometriosis sooo bad though) and she still got pregnant, her pregnancy was healthier than ANYONE'S I know, and she even got pregnant again, and she was completely healthy with that one, think of your surgery as being cleaned out, very good for you, and good for a healthy baby. Good luck and congratulations!

Congratulations!!! I think you'll be just fine. I've never been in your situation, but you should be okay. Ask the doctor lots of questions and think positive! I wish you a happy, healthy 9 months! Woo-hoo!!!!

With your history your not considered high risk.  Because your surgery was not pregnancy related.  With my first pregnancy I lost twins.  I lost the 1st at 3 weeks an then I gave birth to a baby girl at 19 weeks & 5 days.  She did not live.  My 2nd pregnancy I had a ectopic so I had surgery to remove my right tube.  I was given 50% chance of getting pregnant again.  Well my husband an I tried for over a year an nothing ever happened.  So I started taking VITEX.  Well... to make a long story short... I'm 29 weeks pregnant with a baby boy.  I'm due April 12th.  I'm considered high risk because of my past miscarriages.  So I think that you will be just fine.  Congratulations and God Bless, Anita
