pressure and headaches

I will be 11 weeks tomorrow. The last 2 days i have had headaches. not like a migraine but pretty painful. Is it from hormones? Anything besides tylnol to help? Also been having what feels like pressure in my lower belly ( feels like i need to have a bowelmovement, but in the front and tailbone and my back) . Is this normal? From stretching? Im a first time mom and dont really know what to expect.

I was told in my second pregnancy to use a pressure roll on-I used origins(uk) its mostly peppermint based & works by helping to release the pressure. I have been assured they're safe to use in pregnancy :)

That's one reason I added the stay away from bright lights and loud/annoying noises. I know getting annoyed can easily raise blood pressure.  Though if blood pressure does get high, it's best to keep a check on it because something else could be the cause.

Your blood volume increases and causes headaches high blood pressure pulse and dizziness. Its normal ..there isn't much we can take but if its unbearable your doc will be able to help. I'm a chronic pain sufferer and Vicodin and related drugs are safe until before birth. If its needed ....there's a way to make you comfortable without hurting the little bean.

Ive been having headaches through this whole pregnancy but lately they have been worse, tylenol isnt doing much and i can feel the pressure behind my eyes... i was kinda concerned that it could be my BP as the pressure in my eyes just feels off so i went and got a friend at work  to check it and sure enough it was 137/97! so ya the 137 isnt a biggy but ya really dont want to have that bottom number over 90... i have never seen it this high but my Drs appointment isnt till next tuesday and im sure ill live till then but just to be aware that if your are able to check your BP (at some pharmacys or where ever) then i would check it out to rule that out... and i know headaches are easily from hormones but this is just what my personal experience has been o and im 13 weeks tomorrow... and i should add that my BP was strictly 110/70 through my whole pregnancy last time, its a real bummer that it could be an issue this round...

Yes I am almost 13 weeks and have noticed lately I seem to get quite a few headaches... had a scan today, all is good so when I see my doc will ask how common it is... here in Aus we are only allowed to take Panamax, which is Paracetamol & codeine. But it shouldnt be taken in the 3rd Trimester as Codeine is bad for going into Labour.... So I hope the headaches stop by then!

Headaches are very common and are usually caused by hormones. You can only take tylenol for it, but the best thing to do is avoid things that give you a headache such as loud noises or bright lights.

Pressure is normal also. You uterus is steadily growing, so there's going to be aches, pains, and pressure. Try not to worry too much about it.
