So I started this new job on Monday at our hospital here in town as sterile processing tech its really.good money for me being pretty much a single mom. I currently live with my grandparents not my ideal situation but hoping.to be out of here soon and.back into the house I own (i hate debt lol) anyways none of my family knows I'm pregnant due to the fact I'm the only girl and my dad uncle brother ans grandpa are ministers ans I am not married so I got a job and wanna show them ill be ok however.I went to the e.r last night I have a herniated disk and it reuires surgery well being 12 weeks pregnant.that's not a option ans my job is extremely rough and I don't want to have to quit then I have no income . My family.is reallypushing the surgery and I want to tell them I'm pregnant so I can have help with this situation. Here's my question to all u out there do I stick with this job regardless how much pain I'm in because I need to think of this baby.ans not myself or.do I tell my parents and quitthis job ans have no income. I know ill eventually have to tell them I'm just in pain I seriously go to my car and.cry on my lunch breaks it hurts so bad but.its great pay. I'm 11 weeks and 5 days. But ggood news When I went to the er they told me baby is  healthy ans has a 154 heartbeat. I appreciate any advice

I feel your pain on not telling family members. I used to have a hard time telling my Dad because hes a Catholic, Id cook a huge steak dinner each time. But Id feel better afterward. Im also a total "daddys girl" lol so that may have helped. Anyway! Jumping off the soapbox, I agree that you should tell your family hun.

To release some of the mental pressure...tell ur family. Yes there's a chance they will be mad but we all make mistakes. Plus we don't live in the 50's.where its uncommon for unmarried ppl to have babies. Plus It's a new life. They may be excited for the baby. I was scared to tell my mom but I realized I needed to do it and I was stress free for the most part. good luck
