scared

First time moms....anyone else scared out of their minds? Everyone tells me having a baby changes everything, what  does that mean? This was an unplanned pregnancy but me and my husband are making the best of it. I am so scared of my due date, I am scared to lose my freedom. not having fun at all being pregnant.

I dont have family that wants to help I am on my own, my husbands family scares me because they think I v should be jumping for joy at having a cbut the fact is they don't see the baby as being a responsibility, they see it a anaccessory. like I should pop out as many as I can and not blink an eye but this its a huge deal.it's a BABY....A LIFE THAT IS GOING TO DEPEND ON ME.THAT IS HUGE PRESSURE!

Of course it's scary but it's rewarding, I'm also a first time mom and it wasn't planned and I'm doing this on my own Ofcourse with the help of my finally specially my mothers, my babies father has not been there for me at all and only causes me drama, there for I excluded him and trust me I was scare of losing my freedom but now I honestly don't care anymore and I'm sure if I ever want to do something like go out I'm sure my mom won't mind taking care of my daughter for a few hrs plus u have the support of ur husband a lot of people don't have that plus having a baby is a beautiful blessing trust me it will all work out and once u have ur baby u won't want to do anything but to be with her/him :) good luck

Plus, there will be friends and family that want time with your little bundle of joy which will give you time to go out occasionally and relax.

I'm a ftm too! But my family is really close so I have some experience around babies. Let me ask, do you live near your family? Bc I alway know mine can't wait to babysit and I plan on letting them help out as much as they want! Also, once you have your baby and see its face, fear of losing freedom will be the last thing on your mind. But to help put your mind at ease, make a list of things you do often, like weekly, that you can't bring a baby along for. Then beside each thing, write the name of a babysitter. As long as you don't run out of babysitters, you're good!

Its natural to be nervous or scared. This is my first child and I'm 24. I know what you mean when you say you're worried about losing your freedom but its all in your mind. Major life changes are to come like making decisions now for a tiny person first as opposed to just acting without thinking. You and your husband will be fine though :). I'm super scared about doing a good job of being a parent but if you go into it with a good mindset and good morals you can't go wrong.
