so confusedd!!
So I went to for an ultrasound 2 weeks ago to find out the gender and do the scan and the lady told me I was having a girl I was really happy because I already have a boy. So last week on Sunday I went to labour and delivery because I was having pains and I was worried. After I was done she told me everything was OK and I should go for a ultrasound to actually make sure nothing is wrong. So I made the appointment and went on Friday. He asked me if I knew the gender and I said yea its a girl and he looked at me and said no its a boy... so I really don't know who to believe. Usually you can see balls and I didn't and I could barely see a penis and it didn't look like it was looked more like a finger. Sorry for the long post I just really need some advice!! Thanks
things can change btwn 18w-20w...its more likely a boy and the parts just popped a little late :)
Im scared of this too! I go today to have another ultrasound and I going to make sure im still having a girl seeing that I already registered and bought stuff.

Yeah but I think I should just wait and see when the baby is born to see what it is. I'm carrying high but I'm not really showing. And when its born ill be able to know exactly what it is! It just made me sad cause I already have a name picked out and I went on a shopping spree. And I'm emotional as it is anyways lol.
I'm afraid of that happening to me. I was told it was a girl at 18 weeks but I couldn't see the 3 lines. I did see 3 dots. When my hubby was in utero they told his mom he was a girl the entire time. They did a final ultrasound when she was in labor and said, "Oh, its a boy!"
I can't imagine how you must feel! I would say ask again when you get another ultrasound. 2 out of 3 would calm me down if I was in your shoes.
