tips to help go into labor

Well im 39 weeks due in exactly a week and am going to be induced Thursday if I havent had him by then. Well last thursday at my appointment they said I was still closed but soft. :/ so he said to try everything I can to try to have contractions/dialate/go into labor before Thursday so it'll be easier and quicker to induce me. So anybody have any tips to try and get this thing rolling? Im hoping I can be at least two cm by my induction date if not have him before then! Fingers.crossed. Lol

I'M 40w4d and do not have an induction date. My Dr said nipple stimulation is not good. Walk, do light squats, sex if you can are just patiently wait my nxt appt is Tuesday pray for me

Thanks ladies(: and I read in my what to expect when your expecting book that you have to stimulate your nipples for five minutes straight every fifteen minutes for an hour three times a day. Ouch. Lol but I prolly will try it. Im desperate at this point. And will definitely be going to the grocery store(:

Also I have heard that nipple stimulation helps.

A lot of walking, a lot of sex, and maybe buy an exercise ball and bounce on it to help engage babys head
