Sometimes I wish I can could gain weight just so that I know he'll be healthy
I'm 24 weeks and I've actually had trouble gaining weight I've lost a big boy since I got pregnant and I'm having a baby boy in he's perfectly healthy
Just be careful bc you have a long ways yet to go, and your risks for having gestational diabetes, preclampsia, and having to have a c-section will increase if you gain too much..remember too, that in your last 4-5 weeks of pregnancy, you can gain up to a pound a week and you don't wanna have to try to work so much weight off and still take care of a newborn :)
It is a bit much, but its your body and you're the one that has to deal with the consequences of gaining too much during pregnancy (back pain, joint pain, etc) and of course the post effects of trying to lose that excess weight your body doesn't really need. Steady weight gain is always best for you and baby. Realistically, the only people who need to gain more than 35 lbs are those that were underweight to begin with.
I've gained 40 lbs so far, I'm delivering my twins in 2 weeks thank goodness. Doesn't seem bad for twins but I did start out about 25 lbs overweight so its depressing!
Ftm and having a boy. before i got preg i weigh 168 then drop all the way down to 160. Then finally gained 10lbs two months ago. Now i weigh 170lbs and will be seven months monday and don't look like it. And still in my regular clothes
When I got pregnant with my first I was 15 and 105 lbs by the end of my pregnancy I was 155lbs I gained in my boobs butt and thighs and I lost it all within 2 months of her being born I'm now 4 months with my son and haven't gained anything. Every pregnancy is different! Don't worry if you putting on a few extra lbs!
I'm 15 weeks and already gained about 10lbs, so I can only assume where I'll be in 10 more weeks... lol it has nothing to do with eating 300 calories more or whatever, before I was pregnant, I ate once a day and when I became pregnant, I started eating like a "normal" person should eat, 3 meals with fruit inbetween, I hardly even have dessert, unless I'm craving it... I'm sure all the fluid we're consuming now doesn't help either. You'll be alright :) Good luck to you and congrats!!!
I started out 200 lbs and I weighed myself today at 15 weeks and I'm 10 lbs heavier :/
Your only suppost to eat 300 calories more then the normal calories people eat a day
Sry bfr i gt prego.hehe.im 34 weeks by the way
Girl im 29 weeks and went fron 120 to 160 already lol idk where its going tho I have thicker thighs and a bubble but I went from a 32B to a 36D too dnt worry tho our babys are healthy ;)
Ive only gained 28 pounds.bfr u got prego.i was 102 lb
Are y'all having boys or girls?
I've gained too much weight too according to my WIC chart but my doctors haven't said anythin' to me about It. I've gained 43 pounds and prolly still counting!!! It's not like "I'm eating for two" I've been eating completely normal with some "deserts" here and there. But my WIC counselor told me that's not all of us gaining that weight as In tummy wise, It also Is the placenta, uterus, baby, plus tummy weight.
I had gained 29 lbs at my 24 wk appt and my doctor didn't says word about it. Im now 25 2. I was a little under weight to begin with but not much. I'm all 6ft tall
I'm in the same boat hun Dr isn't concerned about it tho I seem to be the only one ;/
