water consumption

How much water should you be drinking while pregnant? I KNOW the normal is 8 cups..I drink bottled water..so I have between 31/2 to four bottles of water a day...but I heard from the er doctor that even that wasn't enough since I was in for dehydration......its really hard for me to drink more than what I am now because I feel sick and my stomach gets really tight and full to where it hurts..........any advice?

Er Dr is right, that's not a lot of water at all! Try to drink at least 10oz of water a hour. Or mix half gatorade and half water. Add ice to your drink and eat the ice. Or try propel water and regular water. It's hard staying hydrated during the summer without being pregnant, so when you're pregnant its even more crucial to stay hydrated.
