If you stop using now, then it shouldnt come up in your system by the time your baby.s born; however, that doesnt mean your baby wont some abnormalities or effects or being exposed to cocaine. Depending on how much and how often you used, it may effect your child, so theres no way to tell until the baby is born. Your kids could be at risk of removal, because you have a 9 month old at home and your usung coke. Im glad you told your doctor and whats really important is to stop using all drugs
It's good for being honest about using it. Like specialmom states, social services will most likely come into play because of cocaine being found in your system not as a pregnant lady, but also as the mother of young child. You're best to be completely honest from here on out and work with everyone, because - they're doing what's best for you and your baby.
If taking the cocaine was a one off thing, then it's unlikely it will be in your baby's system at birth, or affect that. But there's always the chance that taking any amount of drugs or alcohol, for that matter, during pregnancy can affect your baby. If this is not a one off, and you have been doing it for a while then there;s the chance baby will be born with it in it's system, and the need for it. Withdrawals from this type of thing can be dangerous to you and your baby, so if you have a problem with the drug, then you need to seek advice from medical professionals.
Well, there is an issue I believe with finding coke in your system. I'm glad regardless that you were honest about it. But as the mother of a 9 month old and being pregnant again, you've got drugs in your system. That will bring into question by social services what is going on in your home life. If you need help to not do drugs either recreationally or if you are addicted, ask for it from your doctor. I wish you luck and hope for the best here. If it was a fluke, then don't use again and do whatever any professional asks of you to protect your rights as a parent. Peace
