pregnant forever?!

I had my doc appt today and I'm 39wks and 3days and was suppose to get induced last Friday but insurance problems occurred! Anyway, I'm still only 2cm dilated but about 80% effaced!
My mom's birthday is on Wednesday and it would be a good present to give birth to her first granddaughter but it seems like I'm never gonna go into labor!! OMG I'm going insane.....lol. Is anyone else still pregnant?!

Good luck to those who are due sometime this week also!! I'm due Friday and wouldn't mind if she was born then. But it is disappointing to hear I'm ONLY 2cm for the past 2wks. I've walked, had sex, went in my hubby's bumpy car but nothing changed.

StephRox13, I have pregnancy Medicaid and the hospital didn't accept the plan I was under so I changed it. That's just weird, I thought all hospitals accepted all Medicaid. Oh well, I'm glad to hear I'm not the last Prego in here!! I was starting to get worried. Congrats to the new mom's and I agree with mum2beagain, babies will be ready when they are. I just hate waiting lol

And in general babies come when they are good and ready. My first was a two month preemie and gosh that was difficult and he is now disabled because of complications. My second was born at 37 weeks by c section as he was breech  and although a healthy 8lbs 10oz did spend a few days in the babycare unit because of low blood sugars and jaundice and it took several weeks to get breastfeeding well established because he wasn't quite ready. I'm actually pretty happy this one has got to full term, hoping for a quick labour and a healthy pink baby.
Good luck ladies and a big congratulations to all the new mommies!!!!

I'm 37 weeks but will probably be induced next weekend.  I feel like I'm ready to pop though!  So uncomfortable, but trying to enjoy every last minute of being pregnant.  I'm so lucky.

Still knocked up as well..,I'm 39 weeks, 2 days. At my dr appt last week, I was told I was nowhere near close and not dilated at all. I wanted to cry.

I am but I'm only 37 weeks and 3 days. I had a dr app today also and I'm 4cm dilated and about 50% effaced. Lil Girl is measuring 7lbs+. Do you mind me asking what insurance problems you had? Hang in there! Hope your Wednesdsy wish come true. My hope is she comes on Friday!!! I'm going to mow the lawn Thursday night if she doesn't start cooperating! Lol. My lawn is a jungle right now so it'd  be a good workout!!! Good luck to you.
