labor soon??

I'm 36 weeks 2 days and I've been having contractions off and on..and i have definitely lost my mucus plug. I am very crampy all day and have lots of back pain. I went to the hospital the other night because i was having contractions 6 minutes apart for about 2 hours. They had me walk to see if i would dilate anymore (i was only at 1cm) and i didn't.they also said i am 70% effaced. Does anyone think labor is coming soon? Im miserable and i just wish i knew when it would happen

I'm 36+2 and having constant contractions and pain, lost a lot of my plug, but I'm not progressing (not getting much worse) I see my obstetrician on Wednesday so I will be checked and he may organise for an induction because I'm in quite a bit of pain. I think it's just our bodies getting ready, but it's hard when your in pain. Definitely ready to meet bub haha.

Maybe, but you never know. I've been at 2cm since 35 weeks, at my 36 week appt I was 2cm and 80% thinned, I'll be 37 tomorrow. Your mucus plug can regenerate, I lost a bunch the other day and so far nothing other than strong braxton hicks. I'm so very ready to be done with this pregnancy.
