pregnancy

Am almost 11 weeks pregnant, and since the start I was feeling tired and kinda lazy to do much. However, am pushing hard to keep doing everything I use to do. But I am feeling so sick, uncomfortable, nausea, I can't sleep. Is there any advice you ladies can offer me?. I need help. I have tried to rest, and take things easy. But everything?,,,u do. This is really disturbing. I can't sleep, n bother for not bein comfy when am lying on the bed. I prefering the floor. My waist aches. What do u ladies do to feel better ?!

Thanks a lot for ur comments. The mattress on the floor is still the best, is now more comfy with loads of pillows. @ LynnB9 the peppermint is working ;-)  .

I use an extra pillow when I sleep now. Sometimes I put it between my legs or behind my back, where ever it helps. I know what you mean about being tired and nauseous! I tried the whole "continue to do the things I did" but I noticed everytime I pushed myself I got sick. I also eat smaller meals. I think right now, if you can help it, not pushing yourself and relaxing is most important right now.. I also take a lot of naps on my days off. Every amount of sleep helps! Hope you can find a happy medium! I know it's hard to adjust!

My dr gave me phenergan for nausea it helps alot and helps me sleep. Im 12wks and still get it bad at times and can never get comfortable im also getting a pregnancy pillow iv heard they really help. The best thing to do til the second trimester is to take it easy its the danger period til 13wks.

I've used peppermints to help with the nausea, I have a hard time sleeping, but mostly due to the fact I am getting woken up by my bladder or can't fall a sleep due to nausea. I just try to rest as much as I can. I am hoping and praying that it will ease up in the next few weeks or so, since I've been told it often gets better in the 2nd trimester. I'm only 8 weeks, so I really am praying that it does, because I am so tired, that its been difficult to get anything done.

If the floor feels better, go for it, once you find something that helps, go with it.

If you are pushing really hard to get stuff done, you are probably making things hard on yourself, so try to cut yourself some slack, until your symptoms ease up. Last week, I pushed myself pretty hard to get a ton of cleaning and work done around the house, and ended up regretting it later, I was cramping more than normal and dealing with other symptoms and pains, that normally don't bother me, it also cause me some stress and worry. So try to relax and let some stuff slide where you can.
