ONE, TWO OR MORE???

What do you think based on my history, am I pregnant with 1 baby, 2 babies or more than two?

Here are my Hx:

Mirena place June 2007... Removed 7/2009 No cycle regularly- have PCOS since 1999.
1st AF cycle 92days after removal
2nd AF 47 days later I think
3rd AF 35 days later
4th AF, Provera (progestrone) induced 27days after last
**50mg of clomid on cycle day 5 through 9

5th AF, Provera induced 47days later
**100mg clomid on cycle day 5 through 9
**First +OPK ever on cycle day 17 on 4/8
**Exciting 2week wait (first ever) 4/20


Faint BFPs on 4/20 & 21!!! *pictures on file
**Light brown spotting both days.

Confirmed BFP by dr 4/22
**HCG 228 & Progesterone 13.1 (expect 10 or higher)

*88hrs later*

Blood test again on 4/26
**HCG 1622 & Progeterone 12.6

Huge jump from 228 to 1622 7x higher!!

22hrs and counting till I can see the u/s.. I am so excited- Hubby is thinking we're having two.. I am not getting my hopes up for two- just to keep my heart and mind healthy. Positive thinking and being satisified I am pregnant is keeping me going.

I hope in a way we're having twins- it would be so exciting and I would be the first in my family and friends!!

Yeah I'm going with 1 baby... only because with my twins my HCG levels were over 6000 at 20 DPO and that would be more than 3 times what you had at 22. But mine were natural so you might actully could be pregnant with multiples because of Clomid.

Only 4 more days to find out! :)

I was on clomid and got pregnant in March. My first beta was probably at 14 dpo and it was 199. Second was two days later and was 524 (estimate, I've forgotten since then. But it was in the 520's), and two days later it was 1,586 which was a friday, that monday it was 4,026. Mine more than doubled and I'm a singleton pregnancy. GL!

Right it is doubling faster.. and true doesnt always mean twins.. cant wait to see!!

Doubling time =1.41 days.  Normal doubling is 48 to 72 hours right?  So its doubling faster than the 'normal' but that doesn't necessarily mean twins.

I was approx 4weeks and a few days on my first blood test results.. so that is crazy that our numbers are so similar!! I have a TWW till my first prenatal visit on 5/14. I am nervous and anxious all at the same time... Hubby and I are not picky and completely accepting of twins, if it is.

We currently have his 5yr old boy, my 3yr old son and his almost 3yr old daughter all living with us, so what is 2 more??  Our toddlers are 2.5 months apart. So we already have a set of twins (they even look similar).

The wait is taking for ever, I have already known my numbers for 1 week and I cant think about waiting 2 more to see what is going on and how many we're having. Exciting!!

Your number is almost identical to mine ...not sure how far along u are though. I cant wait to see what your next number is. When mine jumped to over 4,000 and was supposed to be at around 800 i had a feeling there was more than one in there :)
I had to wait 2 weeks to find out how many and i swear it was the longest TWW of my life!

Hi, i am a little over 8 weeks right now with identical twins. I was at high risk for multiples because i had 7 follicles when i did IUI. Before IUI i was doing gonal-f injections.
I was reading charts for multiples online to try to compare my numbers and mine fell within a singelton ...i also read that sometimes u can have a really low HCG and still have twins or have a really high HCG and have one. Here are my numbers if you want to compare for fun :)
April 2nd i was  4 weeks and 1 day pregnant and my # was 215 ( they said they wanted it to be around 800 when the checked it again 3 days later.
April 6th--1,331 (they said they wanted the number to remain around the same when they check it again 3 days later)
April 9th-- 4149
I cant believe that with all the fertiity treatment i had been doing over the last few years that i end up with identical twins...so weird & great that we created the twins on our own:) Congrats on your pregnancy. How many are you hoping you have ? My husband and i were praying for twins or triplets

I was confirmed by RE on 4/22 as well and I had 342 HCG, 48 hours later (4/24) jumped to 1008, 24 later (88 hours -like yours on 4/26) 2075 HCG.  I had my first Ultra Sound today and I have one baby!!! EDD 12/28/10!!!  Congrats to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I say one. I have done clomid several times,got pregnant 3x all were single pregnancies. Congrats in any case
