Morning Sickness

Hello ladies- I just found out about this site a week ago and I was hoping someone could help me. I am 33 year old  mother of 3 due again in December and I have the worst morning sickness ever. Actually its all day sickness. I can't stand the smell of meat. I can't eat fried anything. I have only been able to have pb and jelly, chips and dip, and soy meat without being affected. Oh and baked chicken. With my first pregnancy, boy, I only got sick one day and it was over. The other two are girls and I never got sick so this whole morning sickness thing is driving me crazy. Does anyone have a solution or has this happened to anyone else? Please help I have yet to throw up but sometimes I think my blood pressure is out of wack because I will get really nauseated, then my head feels stuffed up and my ears feel like they are plugged. Going next week to dr. but I can't wait. I think I'm about 7-9 weeks pregnant. How long is this morning sickness going to last? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Me too! I can't stand feeling like this. The last time I threw up will be 7 years in November that was when I was pregnant for my son. Thank you for all the tips. I definitely will give them a try. Let you know if it helps. Thanks again!

I have been struggling with extreme nausea as well.  No vomiting.  Such an aweful feeling.  What time of day do you take your vitamins?  I spoke with my doc and pharmacist and they both said that there are some brands of prenatal pills that have more iron in them which is most likely the cause of the sickness (but not always).  So...I switched to the Jamieson brand and I am taking them before bed.  That's helped me a little.  My hubby left an open can of sardines on the counter overnight (I have no idea why) and I was quite ill from the smell for a number of hours this morning.  Being in the house would make me gag so my dtr and I went garage saling.  By the time I got home the kitchen was spotless.  I didn't even have to say anything.  Pretty sure the green look on my face said it all.    I have heard peppermint tea works...candied ginger...soda crackers...gingerale.  Gingerale has really helped settle my tummy with this pregnancy.  Usually, morning sickness is gone by about week 15. Many start feeling better by week 12 and for some morning sickness lasts the whole pregnancy.   Hope you start feeling better soon.
