I have been having mild contractions since 2 in the morning that is almost 10 hours... they have been 6 mins apart the whole time and they just are not changing at all...... only 2 hours of sleep cause they were waking me up.... could this be false labour or is it a very prolonged early labour... :(  lol

I only heard terrible things too so I was terrified. Now I'm thinking those whiny cry babies that was a piece of cake! Lol!

nice to see that there are people that had good experience with inductions... i was always told by everyone how terrible they were... now im not so nervous about :) only 5 more days

My second induction was about 2 1/2 hours start to finish, super easy and quick.   I was at a 5 for a week when they finally induced me.  Good luck.

ya i barley made it to the hospital with my second lol i walked in and pushed once and he was born lol it was so crazy fast i didnt have even a minute to register what was going on... it was three in the morning.... i live like a 20 min drive from the hospital when there is no traffic and we are getting over a foot of snow tonight so it will prob happen tonight with my luck and I will have him in the car....

are you for real!!!!! that can't be from first contraction to baby being born can it????  Mine last about 27 hours from first contraction to baby being born but the start isn't too painful more bearable than anything else and I can sleep through a few hours of it on and off.  

Majikat I am pretty sure if your second was 30 minutes then this one you will be lucky if you make it to hospital on time.  You might be out of luck with 4 hours lol.  Are you still having the contractions????

That's amazing you must be one of the lucky ones lol I hope to be lucky like that this time around.... My labour with my second was so painful... I think prob because it was so fast 30 mins lol im hoping for 4 hrs this time lol

My induction was 9hrs start to finish. No idea how long active labor was because we all missed it I went from 1cm to baby crowning between 1:30am and 4am. I never once cried, breathed heavily, screamed moaned or anything. I felt completely in control and calm the entire time. The contractions were managable and I was able to sleep even :)

I had an induction no csection and super easy labor. I was totally afraid of being induced hearing all the stories but it was so easy and relatively painless even without the epidural working!  Good luck!!  Walk and have sex :)

Oh wow so you can go early and then late!!!  My first was two days early but when I had him his placenta was absolutely shredded and falling apart and my daughter was 2 weeks early and her placenta was perfect.  With the miscarriage I had earlier last year at 14 weeks it makes me a little nervous to go over.  I discussed my concerns with my doctor and she is going to do a scan to make sure my placenta is still working properly.

I think you might be lucky and you might have this baby soon - I really hope for your sake.  If the contractions do stop it wouldn't surprise me if the real deal happened in the next 2 days.

ya I looked it up and you can only get it in New Zealand....
I am scheduled for induction on Monday so I am trying to beat that cause I heard it is more painful and ups the chances of fetal distress and c-section... I went naturally with my first at 37 weeks and my second at 41 so who knows when this lil guy will be ready on his own i am just really hoping before monday...

The pre birth spray is like a natural remedy that prepares your cervix and uterus for labour.  I think you can only get it from New Zealand.  I start taking is about 37 weeks so this week I am going to start and hope it will get things moving.  I am going to start having sex next week in the hope that will do something as uncomfortable and horrible as it is lol.  I am not trying to rush the baby out lol but with my other two I had great labours and I am too scared to change anything hahaha.

I really hope it is your time.  Those teases really suck :)

ya I have been having BH all day everyday for months now but they are getting regular 6 mins apart.... lol he is teasing me lol.... I drink 3 cups of the red raspberry tea a day tried sex and nipple stim....

what is the pre birth spray? never heard of that one...

Oh no that is the worse!!  You must be getting close.  I always have false contractions all night a few days before I go into labour and then it would stop.  When it happened when I really was in labour I tried to have sex to bring it on but then I got a real bad one and couldn't.  I drank heaps of rasphberry leaf tea that day and took my pre birth spray and it was the real deal.

Hard to tell try walking and see if that makes it more constant or painful. Good luck!!  Let us know what happens. Call your dr maybe they can check you and see what's going on down there
