37 week update......

I am 50% effaced and almost a 2 dialated.  Good news is if I dont go on my own I wont have to go to my due date feb 24th.  I will be induced on the 16th at the latest so at least I have an idea when I will get to see my little girl.  So honestly I hope I dont go on my own because we live 45 min to an hour away from the hospital(depending on weather and traffic), my husband works the graveyard shift(i know my luck it would happen in the middle of the night), and it would be difficult trying to get my boys somewhere  if I went on my own.(it could be done, my mom lives 20 minutes away, my inlaws live next door but are pretty unreliable)  I am also no longer allowed to drive, because of my crazy blood pressure and heartrate, so that bites. (still no word from cardiology and what they want to do about that either) Anyway, just a little update.

with my first son five minutes away from the hospital, second son 15 minutes, this one I could go to the "other" hospital but i want to live along with my child...lol Thats the only bad thing about where we live, far away from everything but bigger house  4 acres dead end street, cant beat it except kinda far from medical care .... My Ob delivers at the good hospital so must make the drive.

For me there was a closer hospital but that's not where my OB delivers.

oh wow that *****... i guess im lucky i live only 15 minutes from the hospital!! and the 24th was my due date!! but im meeting my princess on the 7th!! i hope you make it to your induction date or at least if you do go on your own that its a convinient time... :D

The 16th was my due date!!  My husband works midnights too and we live an hour 15 from the hospital so I was in the same shoes as you. Didn't have the kids to worry about but did have three dogs to worry about. I totally understand how you feel. I'm glad that you are doing ok. Wishing you so much luck!
