Hubby wants to find out. I was ambivalent about it, so agreed to find out. Now I'm getting excited about it.

My dreams have been about girls, but both of us can only think of boys names (girls names feel like an intellectual exercise.. there is no connection). It's my first too, but i get a "boy" feeling.

I enjoyed not knowing what I was having with my first because we bought all neutral clothes etc.  When we had ou daughter we had new born clothes we could use.  I have done it both ways, finding out and not finding out and I loved not knowing!!!!  The surpise what so much better

Not finding out though have a feeling it's a girl. It will be a fun surprise :). Plus being religious Jews we cannot name the baby until birth so no point in stressing yet. If it's a boy you wait to name until circumcision (8 days after birth) and with a girl you don't tell anyone the name until it is announced in sinagogue so we will think of names but not decide on one till birth. We also are by our religion not supposed to bring baby things into the house (don't count your chickens till they hatch) so we don't have to worry about boy stuff vs girl stuff either bc we will have the baby in our arms by that point. We will have some diapers and bassinet and such prior but not a whole room painted decorated and a closet full of clothes.

We are finding out, I am one of those people who hates surprises and can't stand not knowing things. My mans no better, there is no way we could go the whole time not knowing so it will probably hide it from us the whole time so we can't find out, lol.

We have three boy names we like so far and two girl names, but I am sure they will change a bunch still.

Thats too funny I feel the same! DF asked me the other day "Can we please have atleast one boy?" like I have some sort of control over this haha. He is terrified that we will have two girls but I know that even if we do he will be wrapped around their little fingers before he even meets them.

I sure hope I'm having a boy. It's the only name we can agree on! I fear if it's a girl, she'll be "hey, you" for the rest of her life  :-)

I for some reason think I'm having a boy. I'll be completely happy with either, but it just feels like a boy to me. It's my first, though, so what do I know?! :)

lol that's funny GBen.  I have two children a boy and a girl.  With my son we didn't find out what we were having and it was such an awesome surprise.  With my daughter we did find out and found when she was born we were a bit disappointed because we missed out on that initial surprise.  With my son I miscarried we weren't going to found out what we were having but now that I am pregnant again we were going to find out out to better deal with having a baby after a miscarriage and prepare myself if he was a boy but we have decided not to find out.
With our names it's funny when we had our boy we miscarried we already had his name from about 5 weeks pregnant.  His name was Ethan Rata .............  With this baby if it is a boy we are naming him Eli Derek................ and if it is a girl she will be Ella Unika............

I have a feeling we are having a girl.  Do you have a feeling of what you are having

Oh yes and congratulations to you all.

I don't think we're going to find out although this is the first pregnancy that I have actively considered it.  I want to find out and not tell anyone I know but I don't think that is realistically possible...I'm too much of a blabber mouth and if it was a girl this time I don't think I'd be able to hide all of the girly clothes I'd HAVE to buy.  Lol.

If we were having a single baby then we were talking about waiting until delivery to find out the gender. But then we found out we were having twins and decided to find out at 19 weeks because we are going to have to buy alot of stuff!

Has anyone thought about names yet? I know its still super soon but its always fun to think about :)  Since this is my third pregnancy (2 prior m/c) it has been something that has come up here and there. DF and I agreed that if we have atleast one boy we want to name him Brayden Michael V****. We havent really thought about girls names yet.

I had figured my husband would want to find out because he is kind of OCD and a total plan ahead kind of person. But when I asked him about it, he surprised me by saying he'd like to wait for the surprise at the hospital. I was totally shocked! Since I am neutral on finding out and my husband wants to wait, we will wait. I've heard it can sometimes make labor and delivery a little more bearable since you have that surprise to look forward to. Let's hope that's true!

I have talked about waiting. My husband says I'll never make it 9 months not knowing, so we'll see  :-)
