I have noticed Lauren will be sitting there and all of a sudden she will shudder and move her head side to side and then continue what she was doing.  (You know its like when you eat something sour and you kinda shudder and shake your head? That's what it looks like) she does this anywhere from 5-15 times a day.  Its not related in response to a food or cold, it appears involuntary.  I am concerned because my brother and myself both have seizure disorders his is worse than mine.(he has the bad ones where mine are simply absence seizures)  I am wanting to take her to a neurologist but want to be sure I am not overreacting.  What do y'all think?  Bring her in asap?  I have never seen my boys do that so I am just concerned.  Any ideas what it may be besides that?  Its nothing she is doing on purpose I know that....just worried!

I first thought it was when she peed but I checked after she does it and her diaper is totally dry.  Its just weird, im gonna see if we can get an appointment tomorrow.

does it look like she is seizing? i would forsure be getting it checked out! especially that often... if it was me seeing that i would be probably freaking out!!!!

Ellie does that shudder when she pees in her diaper lol  shaking her head back and forth is common self soothing action. I would ask your ped about it

I would get her checked!  There is no harm in it and if it puts your mind at ease than it is worth it
