Any new problems due to the pregnacy?

I have major problems with my knees now. They hurt when I go up the stairs especially when I'm caring the car seat up the stairs. When I get up from siting especially when I'm holding Emily. It hurts when I do certain excerse. The doc said it's because of the weight they went through while pregnant.  My knees had 44lbs extra on them :( I guess they got damaged. I feel sad because I'm only 23 and I'm already having problems with my knees just like an old lady.

I'm 5"8 tall and pre pregnancy I was 135lbs before I deliver I was 179lbs I went up 44lbs. So far I've lost 30lbs without working out.

Holy cow!  Maybe my hair loss isn't that bad after all.  I definitely do not have a receding hairline - I'm so sorry you seem to! - and I don't think it's noticeable to anyone else, but it's pretty gross and annoying to be dropping hair everywhere.

lol @ teh fat clothes comment seattle... I too am tired of not being able to wear my tight shirts, i am actually under my pre pregnancy weight by about 5 lbs, BUT!! teh belly never went!! ughh I have what looks like a really early in pregnancy bump... i have tried everything to get rid of it (although im not too consistent) and nothing works... i feel great about the way i look as long as i have a loose shirt on.. but cant bring myself to put a bikini on :(
My hair is falling out too, but unlike you I had wayyyy too much hair pre pregnancy (ive always hated how much hair i have because its so heavy it gives me headaches), and even though i hate having to clean the sink and bathtub everytime i bathe or brush it, i am kind of glad its falling out as much as it is.. hopefully it doesnt grow back out..

My hair is falling out.  I thought that was supposed to happen shortly after giving birth, not over four months later.  The worst part is that my hair never thickened up like people claim their's does during pregnancy so I am going to be bald soon!!!

And the WEIGHT!  Yes, it's driving me crazy, too.  I lost the first 22 pounds in less than two weeks, then held steady for over two months before I started losing weight ever so slowly again.  I have about six pounds to go and I want it OFF.  I'm tired of wearing fat clothes!!!

Somehow I made it back to pre pregnancy weight quickly but I still feel like my tummy is flabby. I want to tone up but umm when exactly?  I do take Ellie for walks in her stroller every day that it is nice. We walk for at least an hour at a moderate to fast pace. Gotta get my body back!!

Does being 10 pds heavier than pre-pregnancy count? I can't wait to lose this weight! The bad thing about a c-section is that when they cut your belly they cut your muscle. So that leaves you with this flabby pouch for a tummy. I dont know why they do it this way. We are people, not kangaroos!

Ugh trying me too lack of sleep makes my AS ssooo angry!!

My hips were messed up out of alignment after vaginal delivery. They would lock up and crack and I limped but one visit to the chiropractor fixed that for good :)

Lack of sleep!?! Lol my autoimmune disease is acting up more but I think it may be getting a little better as long as I rest a lot with the baby, nap when she does.

Wow, I must say I don't feel so bad now. I thought I was the only one with problems.  I'm looking forward to a PT.

well i am 22 and have had 2 knee surgeries so i know how you feel, i agree with seattleview physical therapists are the besT!!! i was pretty dependent on them for a while, but unlike seattleview i still suffer from chronic tendonitis which causes really bad pain when i walk for too long (over 30 mins), when i stand or long periods of time, and obviously when i excercise, my hips have been affected and they crack a lot!! and i have been told because when my knee hurts i unintentionally limp so my hip is in anawkrard position while im walking.... I will most likely have old lady knees my whole life, :( hopefully you get some relief from PT.

Want to talk about old? My hips hurt, they keep on locking or jamming everytime I do a sudden move. I can't believe that I actually get stuck and can't move and have to wait awhile or massage them gently, to unlock :/

My knees hurt, too!  Especially when getting up from sitting.  They didn't hurt at all while pregnant, though.  I had two knee surgeries over ten years ago due to a dance floor related injury :) and thought I'd have old lady knees, too...the good news is you can go to a physical therapist to learn exercises to keep your knees "young".  I hadn't had any problems post surgery until now and I'm 36!  Physical therapists are amazing!  I highly recommend you find a good one and follow their exercise regimen religiously if you're having serious knee issues.
