Braxton hicks anyone?

I am only 16w6d.  Yesterday I had a little bought of braxton hicks.  I figured it was because I hadnt drank enuff water so I downed 2 glasses and rested and they went away.  Today, I made sure I was drinking water but I vacuumed my floor and more braxton hicks worse than the day before.  So I drank another glass of water and rested and took a warm bath.  They finally went away.  This is making me nervous especially this early.  I dont go to my doctor till sept. 22nd.  I read somewhere if you have more than 4-6 braxton hicks(i had at least 8-10) per hour you should call your dr. but then again I read if they go away dont bother.  Anyone else having this?  What did/or would you do?

I'm starting to get a few braxton hicks.  Nothing too bad I can just feel them maybe once a day or two.

Oh my 5 times a night and you are only 20 weeks.  It's definately going to get worse than that lol.  I haven't bought nappies yet, I might buy a few closer to my due date but then I only have one bun in the oven lol.  I guess I am too scared to buy anything - silly place to be in but hopefully after my doctors visit on Wednesday I can rest easy till my next appoitnment.

Oh yeah one thing I was told when I had my son was not to buy too many nappies incase baby or your babies have a bad reaction towards them.  My son never had that problem but my daughter was quite fussy with which nappies we used.  I hope that helps.

Haha I'm hoping they dont as well. Although last night I broke my highest record. I got up to go to the bathroom 5 times overnight!! That's just insane and I hope that it's not what I have to look forward to the rest of the pregnancy. If so, i'll consider wearing a diaper myself :P   Has anyone started buying diapers yet by the way? I bought 2 packs of 92count newborns and the total was $40!!! Holy crap these kids are going to put me in debt haha

I'm pretty sure braxton hicks kind of feel like your tummy is tightening.  If you lie on your back you will feel your tummy go rock hard, that's what I have always thought braxton hicks were.  When you have one you can't even feel around your tummy, my midwife had to wait for it to finish.  I hope that makes sense.

I'm also glad to hear everything is okay! Since this is my first pregnancy I dont even think I would know if I was having Braxton Hicks if I was! I do sometimes have some pressure from down below and sometimes my woman parts actually hurt. If I can remember correctly it's usually when I have to pee. Any one else having this issue? The u/s tech said baby B was literally right on my bladder so that might have something to do with it....?

I would call your dr better safe than sorry. I was told any more than 4 in one hour and you need to call. I know a few women who had that happen and it was dehydration. They went to the hospital and the BH contractions had dialated them a little all bc of dehydration.
