Mark Ezekiel was born Febuary 7th in the evening via c-section. 8lbs and 20 inches of screaming happiness.

Awe Jenny you are so sweet. I'm so glad that you are a part of the Feb Babies group your post made me smile. I am so glad that everything turned out well!  Poor pups, ours are in the same boat feeling neglected though we are doing our best.

Thank you all for the congratulations. He is awesome:) I was really disappointed that we had to have a c-section, but after tweleve hours on pitocin and 2 cm the OB recommended it for my safety.When I went in I was 70% effaced and 2cm, he was at 0 station. I was having contractions every 90 seconds and they were 110 and over on the TOCO for over an hour and no progression. I got to 3 cm and 80% effaced at the very end, but my cervix had begun to tear. When my OB went in Mark's head was presenting forehead to crown instead of crown which is the normal. His head actually begun to mold on top in the middle. He never would have come without hurting me or himself. So I was glad, in the end, that I let my OB do the surgery, because I would have died if something would have been wrong. When he was born he began to cry immediately and I will tell you that ws the sweetest sound I had ever heard. I didn't realize how right some of you ladies were about that until I heard for my self. My husband has been AMAZING with us both since the night he was born, and my parents have been here for us both while we have been trying to adjust. My poor dogs are sad and feeling a little neglected, but we pet them and play with them as much as possible and hopefully we can get into a grove all together soon. I thank God as much as I can remember to for giving me so much and blessing me so fully with my amazing son, wonderful husband, terrific family, fantastic friends, and super supportive ladies like you. Thank you all for being here during this pregnancy. It made it so much easier knowing I had a support group to come to when I needed you.
