Its okay, I checked it out on the net. It all depends what your BMI was before pregnancy. Mine was normal so I am supposed to gain 45lbs with twins, 30lbs if it was a singleton by the end of my pregnancy.
The more underweight you are the more you have to gain and the more overweight you are the less you have to gain. There is a chart on the babycentre website.
yeah but arent you having twins? you have two babies in there, your gonna gain more weight
I'm worried now, I have been slowly gaining weight but I have gained 19lbs since the start of my pregnancy (I am 20 weeks now)
Thank goodness.... Im glad im not the only one. It totaly freaked me out when she said what I weighed. I mean I know im gonna gain weight, i just wanted to do it slow and steady.
I have to say that I think that I will be in the same boat. I had lost a lot of weight, and because of that I have been weak and giving into my cravings for a lot of sweets, Ive eaten way too many sweets. I go to the doctor in 1.5 weeks and I feel sure I will have gained more wieght than I am happy with in one month. Granted, Im going to gain weight bein pregnant, I know that. But if I gain more than "normal" it means I need to lay off the cupcakes : ( that would be sad, lol : )
I am currently 21 weeks pregnant, and last month wheen i went to the doctor, I found out that I gained 7.5 pounds in 4 weeks, i was so surprised and scared, I thaught that that was a bad thing, but when I asked the doctor she said that it is ok, and that there is nothing wrong with it, and that sometimes that happens, specially that I wasnt gaining that much weight before.
