I have the worst OB ever, she doesnt do anything when I go to her office, all she does is hear the heartbeat and that is it, a couple days ago I had an appointment and she felt my  belly, she didnt take measurements or anything she felt it with her hands like she is some psychic or something and said your uterus is small, and when I asked her what she meant she started acting up, as if I dont understand, and only she understands, she said that I should take an US in 4 weeks, and another thing she does is I asked her if she can check if I have yeast infection, so she gave me medicine for it with out even checking to make sure if I have a yeast infection.
I wanted to change this doctor from the beginning, but every one was telling me to be patient, she is so mean, sometimes I am scared to even ask her a question, one time she literally told me "why dont you pay attention to me when I am talking, how many times do I have to repeat my self???" and I felt like I was going to cry, I am scared if I tell her something she wont see me anymore, any suggestions???????

Do you know what?? I wouldn't worry because sometimes they measure the fundal height incorrectly because they can't feel the top of your uterus properly. Also, from everything I read I was lead to believe that they had to do the dating scan from 11-14 weeks because before 14 weeks all babies grow at the same rate and then after that they show variation based on genetics, parent weight, height ......Therefore they should find it impossible to 'redate' you from a 26 week US.
Already they have said you are measuring small and now they are saying you're measuring big.

My babies were measuring 1lbs8oz and she said they were the same size as singleton babies which is unusual and this means I'm doing great. Another women there at 28 weeks (I was only 24 weeks) had the same sized babies as me and they said she was great.
On the print outs they gave me my babies measurements were below the mean which suggests they are just under normal weight. Then on the babycentre chart it says that 1lbs8oz is just under what a 27 weeker would be.

I figure, as long as our babies have the right parts and are still growing then they ar doing great!! Also they don;t measure the weight accurately, they use various computer measurements and math formula which can be out if they don't do their measuring properly.

Great to hear. Because people carry differently, abdominal muscles and whether this is their first pregnancy or not, it really would be hard to get a correct judgement from measuring someone stomach. It would just be a precaution, but I guess it could cause some unnecessary scares! Good to hear everything is OK!

I am so glad to hear that!   I hate that they tell you these things and stress you out beyond beleif, only to make you wait in agony for days or weeks and then announce that all is fine.  I am going through something similar right now.  Anyway, glad to hear that things are going good, and it sounds like your baby is doing great!!

An update, I went for the U/S and as it turns out the baby is measuring 4 days bigger on the U/s So I am really 26 weeks and it is measuring 26 wks 4 days.  They also said he/she is a "porker" weighing in at 2 lbs 2 ozs.  So I guess everything is fine and the measurments in the office don't really matter.

I found this information on babycenter.com.  I haven't been through this but I thought some info might ease your mind.  Keep us posted.

"Why might I be measuring "small for dates"?
Measuring small for dates means your fundal height is more than 2 centimeters shorter than what's normal for your stage of pregnancy. Your practitioner will probably order an ultrasound to confirm your due date, in case you're not as far along as you thought, and to rule out problems such as intrauterine growth restriction and too little amniotic fluid.

Being small of stature or having well-conditioned abdominal muscles can give you a smaller initial fundal measurement. Or you may have a small, perfectly healthy baby. Some babies are small because their parents are small. But if your baby isn't growing as he should be, you'll have another ultrasound in a few weeks to check on his growth, and frequent monitoring to assess his well-being."
