12 weeks!!!

YAY i'm 12 weeks now!  How nice to be over that time of stress and worry and beginning my second trimester.  Anyone else finally hit the safety zone?  (Like i'm really going to stop worrying now...lol I wish)

Today is day one of my second trimester. I am officially 12 weeks. I have already started nursery. Will post pics tomorrow or next day.

elbow77- i bought a few white sleepers a few days ago since they were on sale. i suppose i have already decided to use non conventional colors. like oranges, browns and creams... i am not a fan of pastels. i am itching to get started!!!!

I am 12 weeks and 3 days!!!!!! I'm so excited about that.

fyrefly- I won't start getting the nursery ready until I know what it is and I don't find that out until Aug 20. I'm so ready to start buying things and decorating!

I am 13 weeks! I know it feels so good to be into the 2nd trimester! YEAH!!!!!!!!! :)

You have heard the heartbeat so it is safe to say it is time to celebrate!!! I live in Australia, and most people here have 12 week scans as everything is touch an go up until 12 weeks. If at 12 weeks everything looks good it's fairly safe to say you can start to tell people and start preparing for the baby. I haven't had a scan yet - we do them here at 12 weeks and 19 weeks. Lots of people have one before that too (at 8 weeks), but I didn't.

Listening to the heartbeat is just as good as an ultrasound I think - as long as you can hear it it's very safe to say your baby is doing well! Congrats!! I can't wait to be at this point next week!!

I didn't have a scan. My doctor didn't schedule me for a scan until 20 weeks. I see so many people on here getting early scans? Here in Canada we don't have that done, unless your having pains in the beginning, then they will rule out tubal pregnancies with a scan.

I seen my doctor yesterday. She used the doppler and there was a heartbeat so that seemed pretty reassuring to me :)

I was also debating going on Saturday to a private clinic where you pay for ultrasounds. There is no doctor there, and they say they don't give medical info.. It's just a place to bond with the baby and get pictures/dvd's etc. I was told by others to wait til later to get this done, but I can't help it. I"m so anxious! !

I will be 12 weeks next week and am looking forward to that time!!! Congrats girls!! I have an u/s scan after my 12 weeks is hit so I won't be celebrating until then. Are you having a 12 week scan around now to confirm everything is OK?

I know what you mean about not worrying. I've waited the whole pregnancy for this day. - To tell my co-workers and others but now that it is here, I am debating and wondeirng if I should wait just one more week.. LOL    It's terrible that we spend most of our pregancy worrying when we should be enjoying it!
