Check in

Hello ladies, haven't been on here for a while. I am now 27 weeks and 2 weeks ago i woke one morning and couldn't breathe. Anyway to cut a long story short i went to the Emergency department and they admitted me straight away and did a CT scan. I had a blood clot in my lung ( its in our family history, my dad died aged 42 of a clot in his lung). It was the scaryest day. So anyway now i have to inject myself every day with a blood thinning medicine until after baby is born. I'm under 2 specialist now and am having fort nightly growth scans.
I've had 3 perfect pregnancies and now with my 4th its all turning to rubbish. Think this is gods way of telling me this is my last, but i dont need telling that I KNOW THIS IS MY LAST.

How scary. Hope that everything is OK. The risk of a thrombosis is always scary and pregnant women are at an increased risk. The blood thinning agents are relative safe for pregnant women adn rather effective. Hope the rest of your pregnancy is uneventful :-)

this is my last preg as well because my hemotologist does not recommend long term usage of heparin....
