Any Sleepy Ladies???

When I first found out I was pregnant, I started falling asleep around 10pm.  But then, these past few days ~ I've gone back to my regular 12:30am bedtime because I wasn't feeling tired at all.  Today I started to feel a bit sleepy and decided to take a nap.  It lasted 4 hours!!!!!  I woke feeling light-headed and sick.  Yucky.  Anyone else experience anything like this?  I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow.

Hi Ladies.

I just want to say kudos to you ladies that work as well.  I don't know how you do it!

I haven't been able to function in almost two weeks now.

fortunately (unfortunately)  I'm not working since I was laid off while back..

I am experiencing this as well. When I first found out I was pregnant to about the 7th week I was able to fall asleep quickly now I can stay up to probably pretty late if I didn't make myself lay in bed in the dark trying to get me to sleep because I work early and I know I need the rest. I don't get very much good sleep because I am constantly running to the bathroom at night. but I feel like I am just rambling on and on so I will just stop here :-D

Thanks skipili!  I hope that sweet dreams of our little one's are in each of our futures.

I wanted to let you know that I get up earlier than I normally do. Some mornings I wake up around 6am and cannot fall back asleep.  I read that disturbed sleeping patterns is normal for early pregnancy.  So yep, I think being pregnant can wake you up earlier.  Don't aren't little ones realise we need more sleep?  Not less!  (Tee hee.)

I seem to get tired everyday around 1:00 after I eat lunch. I'd love to take a nap but can't because I'm at work. I've also noticed I've been waking up earlier on the weekends when I should be sleeping in. Can being pg make you wake up early you think?
aweeonetolove - I hope you have sweet dreams tonight :-)

Thanks Grose.  I know it's silly but I guess that would be my worst nightmare if it happened right now.  I'd rather go on to having Dexter related nightmares.  Those I can handle.  But bad things about other people would be horrible too...
p.s. I hope Noah listens to me as well!  All the best!

LOL, I hope he listens to you :)

I used to have horrible nightmares with Noah but none of them were about him, just bad things happening to other people. I wonder if I will get nightmares this time around...
None of my dreams were prophetic, don't worry about yours, they're normal.

Yeah, that's not too great.  Wee Noah ~ You need to sleep in a little so that your Mom and new sibling can get some rest!

I slept badly last night.  Probably because of my extra long nap yesterday.  I had such vivid nightmares.  In one of them, I was out in the country at the walk-in medical clinic waiting to see the Dr.  I used their washroom and discovered I was bleeding uncontrollably.  I really hope this is not a prophetic dream but a nightmare.  It was not fun!  Hope everyone else is getting better rest.

Ugh, it doesn't help that Noah went from waking up at 7:30am to 6:00am all of a sudden.
It is still dark out when he wakes up.

Ack, all well!  Maybe I won't let myself take a nap again.  I'm tired off and on but the nap really put me in a mood today.  Along with making me feel.  Bad news. I can't imagine how you ladies do it with a little one in your arms already!  You guys are my heroes!

I am very tired, more than usual. Most days I take a nap when Noah does but lately I haven't been because I wake up feeling so sick like you said. I think I am 6 1/2 weeks.
