Anyone start BC since delivery?

Hey all just wondering if anyone has gotten on BC since there delivery? I just started the Depo shot which I've been on several years ago before the birth of my first child. It worked great. I had no period and never gained weight on it. I was wondering what kinds of BC people recommend and what has worked for them.

I went back on the pill at 6 weeks post delivery.  It was what I was on before pregnanacy - Ortho TriCyclen Lo.  Well, after two weeks of not bleeding I started bleeding heavily again and the dr. thinks it was my period and that the pill wasn't working for me anymore.  So now I am on LoEstra24 - it is supposed to make you have shorter lighter periods and so far it has really helped to stop my bleeding.  I wanted the 3 year IUD bc I know I don't want any for that period and can take it out if I want, but my dr. didn't recommend it for me bc I have really irregular periods when not on the pill and he said IUD doesn't work well for people with irregular periods bc they have worse cramps and stuff.  So, anyway - pill for me.

My dr. gave me something that has no side effects and I won't get a period.  I was actually trying to get it filled yesterday at the grocery store when my son decided to scream bloody murder, so I left.  A whole hour to drive to the store and I made it out with only lettuce and bread LOL!

I am on the mini-pill for now but at the end of september I am going on the Mirena IUD. I am so excited to not have to think about my BC and I dont think we want anymore kids, at least not for a few years.

I was on depo and I had the worst mood swings and depression. I only got a period once every three months but when it came it lasted for 3 weeks, I would be so sore from wearing a tampon for so long.

I loved the idea of the patch but the dang thing wouldn't stay on lol

I was on the patch before having my son.  Loved it,b/c i only had to remember it once a week, and i don't do shots. = )

Now, since i am bf-ing, i am on the mini-pill, but i'll go back to the patch when i'm done.
