Bloody discharge

Hello ladies, I ahave a little concern, its been 2 days that I have been having bloody discharge, yesterday was a lot, it is kind of like, dark and I know it is old blood of or some kind. I  dont feel any pain but just pressure down there and underneath my tummy.
   I dont know if I should call my doctor about this or just normal, I asked him last monday for my check up and told him I was seeing a small amount of bloody discharge but only small ones, not like this weeks has more..he said it is normal because my cervix is getting to spread wide open or something. I am sched for C-sec on july 14 and I feel like i am not gonna make it to that day. I am a little scared, what should I do. How do I know when I am on my labor already,
  I have my 2 1/2 son with me at night and his dad works graveyard, how do I know if I am on labor and scared what to do when the time comes and my husband is not around. pls give me a little advice would be much appreciated. thank you!!!

thanks ladies, the bleeding stopped and was always looks like a dirty blood never fresh or new. I have app on monday and 2 more mondays after that and me getting operate thru c sec. I wasnt so concerned bec. it was just not too painful at all. again thank you everyone!!!

I agree with firstcub my dr told me if I start to bleed at all alot or alittle to call right away. It could be beginnings of labor. If your app is in the next day or so than like grose said mention it to them but if it's a week or a few days away don't wait. It's too late in pg to assume it's nothing! Good luck...

Can you call your doctor? I would just give a call and tell the nurse or whoever answers the phone your concerned. That's what they're there for! They won't be mad - they'll prob take a message and then get back to you and either tell you it's perfectly normal or that they want you to come in. I'd def. call for the peace of mind. I agree, if it's brown, it's old blood and it's normal but if it's a lot, I'd ask anyway.

Do you have appointment coming up soon? I would just mention it then. As long as it isnt bright red blood it is considered normal.

Well kind of a lot, I've change my underwear now twice, its like kinda full where my thingys at but I dont feel pain, it looks like an old blood from yesterday or something. I feel pressure/cramping once in a while but it doesn't hurt so bad. but when I walk, I can feel the pain from walking..i dont knwo if that's normal. thank you!

If the discharge today is brown it's just left over from yesterday. How much blood are we talking here? Light spotting is very normal and it means that you are dilating. Are you having any contractions or cramping?
