Sleep Vent #2

OK - our other "vent" was getting pretty long.  LOL!  So,I thought I would start a new one to keep us from having to scroll down so much on the other one.
Cash did a little better last night - he went to sleep at 9 (usually we do 7 so not sure if that made a difference) and didn't wake up until 2.  I couldn't settle him at that point so I brought him into bed with me until 6:30.  That's better than where we were at, so maybe we are on the track back to better sleeping.  Who knows!?
So I didn't try controlled crying...maybe I won't have to.

Well I definitly think they teething, James haas always been such a laid back and easy baby, and he was pretty tired and cryin gout a lot. The last couple nights have been better, we are trying back our old rouitne, bath, feeding, reading and music and he is sleepping better, last night he woke up twice and yesterday and today his naps are doing better again. I hop eI don't jinx myself, will see.

Ugh!  Last night was terror at my house too!  Cash napped great yesterday so I thought that would be a good sign for the night.  NO such luck!  He would sleep an hour and then cry.  Didn't care if I soothed him or not - he would still cry and cry.  I ended up with him inthe bed with me.  At work now - after 4 nights of this I am in a fog. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

o.l last night was MADNESS, we did our usual routine, around 5:30 food,, playtime until 6 pm, then bath, feed, reading a book, rocking and bed. Had to reassure him for couple time but fell asleep until 9 PM then everything went crazy, he cried, and cried, and cried all night long and could not settle down. We eneded puttin ghim in bed with us and still he cried a lot, I think he is definitly teething and maybe it was because his 6 m old vaccinations, but whatever it was it s was HAVOC.

Zazou- thanks for the explanation about  controlled crying, that is exactly what we did with  James when he was about 1-2 month old and we started him on his nap routine, that he loved and was doing so well until the last week. So we are back to ground zero again, but htis time I don't think that the controlled crying is working anymore, he wails so badly as soon as I lay him on his crib, bed or anywhere he wails, just stops when we are holding him or he isplaying. He is fighting his sleep so bad, so we decided to be patient and wait until he gets better.
