Flu shot???

I got the flu shot last time I was pregnant but I was in my 3rd trimester. I suppose I should just wait to ask my OB but I was wondering.
Are any of you getting a flu shot this year or is it not a good idea in the first trimester?

Ok, thanks. I think the main reason I got it last time was because my son was born during flu season so I didn't want to get it and then pass it on to him at such a fragile age.
I probably wont get it.

I more than likely won't get it.  Four years ago, I got the flu shot and I caught the flu three times.  Most years before that and every year since, I never get the flu (just colds)!  But I do agree with Isabelle and think that you should listen to your Dr.  If you are prone to getting the flu ~ It's probably a good idea.  Our little one's can't handle a high fever this first trimester.  Best of luck!

My doc said that I should get it but I declined... I didn't get it in my 1st pregnancy and everything was fine

With everything we hear with autism and things, I've become really scared of taking anything during pregnancy!

This is just my personnal experience. I do recommend that you listen to you doctor!
