update for the night
When I got here my sugar was high. My blood pressure was 169/95 twice. They are doing a 24 hr urinalysis. I'm so tired and bored. I guess we will see if I have preeclampsia. I just want this pregnancy over with. 35wks today, 4 more wks until my c section date unless they take her sooner. I'm hungry too, not enough to eat here since im on a diet. :(
AP, how are you doing? And how do you pull off a cervical self-exam? I tried it but couldn't reach, lol. i even squatted. you're a little dilated already, aren't you?

Both of you are thinking in the wrong direction---think SOUTH, come to Florida. Winnie Palmer is the BOMB. And the docs here are awesome (the ones at Winnie Palmer that is).
Here they do internals but sparingly so they don't exacerbate or trigger anything. Darkie, was it your BP that landed you in the hospital? Mine was really high today (5 readings)... I was scared they were going to admit me, but they didn't. I see my doc again on thursday.

Ive been in the hospital since May 14th for preeclampsia. Its a shock at first but once you are there for a couple of days and get the routine down it wont be SO bad. I have done the 24 hr urine check twice since Ive been here and the results have come back within 2 hours both times (even after 5 pm and on the weekend), so I would assume it would be the same there. Also, I dont know how you feel about it but when I couldnt sleep I told them and they gave me 10mg of ambien and it worked really well until about 4 in the morning...and something is better than nothing around here. Another thing that helps is having my own pillow from home bc it smells like home and its comforting.
Time to start to research where to complain about your dr. HE REALLY IS AWFUL. That would not fly with me! Seriously. That is just not right! I'm sickened by it. Give me the name and number like I said I will straighten him out. And what do I always say to you move to Boston the midwest is crazy how they handle medical issues especially pg! You have got to be dilated with your luck you are like 5 cms! Seriously time to self check! Yuck to the idea but someone has to! Good luck and keep me posted n text me you gotta be bored!

Wow, I can't believe that they didn't even check to see how dilated you are. What are they going to do now send you home?
I'm in Kanasa!!! I've told u doctors here are retards!!! Another doctor came in and asked me if I was still contracting and I'm not so they didn't even check. lol Like u said I;ll have to walk in with the baby half hanging out of me to get some attention.
My sugar dropped to 43, then 5 mins later went to 74.... No one knows wth is going on anymore. My body is officially confused.

I can't believe they have not checked to see if you are dilated yet. In Boston the first thing they do is check you internally. You could have a stomach ache in the er and you get an internal. At this point do it yourself! Omg. That is crazy!
Have no clue about dialation. They med student came in this morning and made my contractions WORSE. I was about to punch a hole in the wall, but they lessened. They are going to check my cervix sometime today. I am SOOOO TIRED. Got woke up at 12,3,4,5,6am. They keep drawing my blood, like 5 tubes already today. I need to sleep, but can't
So are you dilated more? It is crazy how quick time has passed from when we found out that we were pregnant to now that we should be having them in the next few weeks! Keep updating!
So when I got here my sugar was like 148. Then 3 hrs later 68. 2 hrs after dinner it was 113. Then before my snack it was 118. They are going to check it again at 3am. I bet my 3am sugar will be high. and my fasting will be too. I just need to stop stressing out.

I'm tired and bored, but can't sleep. I just want to know whats going on and what they are going to do. I want to know when I'm going to have my baby girl. I'm so excited I guess. I just want to have her and hold her and go home with my oldest daughter and just be a family.
