I totally agree. They say with each pregnancy you feel more and more symptoms earlier, with my first, I was 19 and found out when I was 2 months, I had such bad morning sickness and also when I was about 6 months I could feel her kicking. By the 7-8 months I could make out feet prints and she would slide her feet/arms/elbows all along my belly, there was NO denying I was pregnant. I can't see how someone just wouldn't know. How can you give birth in a toilet and not feel a baby come out of you??? This women had no clue. The drs rushed into the bathroom and saw the baby laying in the toilet water, not moving. He was 2.8 lbs and the twin sister was still inside the mom. THe ambilical cord detached with the boy baby and when they got the mom back into the room they tried to pull on it to release the after birth and they realized another baby was in there. COME ON...................who does this happen to????
How can you deny a baby kicking you in the ribs?
I do agree though, it is denial, that's what it was for my friend at least.....
I too believe that it's a denial thing. My dtr. was an aerobic exerciser in the belly. Literally seeing her leg out the side of my belly. Even if moms don't have as active babies, they still move around.
Unbelievable to me, and I have to wonder if it isn't sometimes attributable to denial. Sort of like imagining pregnancy symptoms when you're not preggo and want to be, but the reverse?? IDK
I have heard of this happening a lot and I personally know a few girls that didn't know they were pregnant until 7 or 8 months along. One of them was my friend when we were 16, looking back I can see a big pregnant belly in the pictures but she did hide it VERY well. I still think to this day that she knew she was pregnant and was trying to get rid of the baby, we were heavy drinkers in high school and experimented a lot with other "stuff". Her mom finally made her go to the doctor and they did an u/s, she was 7 months along! She was also taking birth control the whole time. I don't know how her and her boyfriend didn't know. When she told me she was pregnant I asked her to show me her belly and her belly button had already popped out. Last time I saw her son he was almost 4 and still not really talking, we aren't friends anymore so I don't know if he has any proven birth defects.
