NOT A THING FOUND

So I just tried to post a long question and I dont know what happened lol.. so here it goes again.. I just found out I was PG a couple days ago.. I had one mc back in FEB 2006 then go PG agian in May 2006 and had a healthy little boy who is almost 2 years old now.. anyways my husband and I were NOT trying, but I was still really excited when I found out on WED that I was PG again!!! So they wanted to check my HCg levels on friday b/c I just wasnt feeling PG they came out to be around 218. Which was low.. then last night I had the WORST pain in my left side so I went to the ER they did the HCg test agin that I had a day and half before,  and it did not double.  It went up maybe like 70 points ( cant remeber exactly) The doctor was scared that I had a eptopic PG (sp) so they ordered an ultrasound!  When I went back there.. I noticed it was a girl that I used to know ( i was really excited b/c I new she was going to be honest) and she said that she didnt see ANYTHING no sac in  my uterus, cervix, or tubes.  She said it might just be to early to see anything.. b/.c she can see where my uterus is getting thicker ( i guess that is what happens right before the sac forms) and she said that I had a really bad cyst on my left ovary that Is prob where the pain is coming from.. anyways I know this is long .. but has anyone been through ANYTHING like this?????? left side still hurts really really bad!!!!  Realy dont wanna lose this baby.. my husband is in the army and he is leaving on WED for 3 weeks so I really wanted to find out something! p.s. my last period was on 10/14

The point isn't what the level is but whether or not it doubles every 72 hours. Everyone's levels are different. Check this out:

hCG levels in weeks from LMP (gestational age)* :

3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7,650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml
Postmenopausal: <9.5 mIU/ml

Joy is right on:  It is much to early to see anything via ultrasound. Try to find relief in those great rising numbers.  All the best and congratulations!

According to a due date calculator you're only 3 1/2 weeks along, so you DEFINITELY cannot see anything via ultrasound. A thickening uterus, rising HCG levels--- it all sounds promising! Congrats!!!

Wow, first, our stories are very similar! Had a daughter in 2005, had a miscarriage in 2006, then got pregnant again quick after the miscarriage and my youngets is 19 months! Here we are pregnant with #3.

Anyway, to reassure you, it is too early to see anything via ultrasound. Also, doctors like to see your HCG levels double every 72 hours (3 days), so it's very possible that your numbers are fine! They ARE climbing afterall.

It's very normal for women to experience a miscarriage in their lifetime. Because you have a child already, I think it's safe to say (especially knowing your levels ARE going up and not down) that this little one may just be safe!
