Moving...NOW!

So, we got a call a couple of days ago from someone wanting us to move and run his 7,000 acre ranch in Colorado...and we are picking up and moving!!!  We leave Monday.  It is a great job oppurtunity, but wow, moving now is a bit stressful.  My mom had all my baby stuff for my shower sent to my friends house, and now DH has to go get it all so we can bring it to Colorado.  So, this sure will be a new adventure...exciting, but a bit scary.  Wish us luck! Oh, and the hospital is 70 miles away from the ranch.  Better be sure to read up on delivering in a truck LOL!

My husband will be running the cattle aspect and all that kind of stuff.  The guy wants to hire me for the marketing and guest aspect of the hunting, fishing and all that kind of stuff.  It sould be fun.  It is about 10 hours away from where we are living now.  We also have to move our horses and all our stuff....  My mom is flying in on Friday from NY to help...so i can't wait to set up the nursery when she gets here!
I will try not to overdo it- I did last weekend and my feet swelled up SO bad.

Mumita-  good luck on finding a yard and new place.  It would be great if you can get in before the baby is due :)

I feel ya, We are trying to sell our townhouse and rent a house with a yard before the baby is born, I am actually looking forward to it but we are hoping to sell the townhouse soon so we're not moving right around my due date! July 31st.

Sounds exciting that you will be running a ranch, I've never done any kind of ranch work so to me that sounds kinda like an adventure!

What does running the ranch entail? So how far away is the ranch from where you live now? Moving to another state sounds scary to me lol I dont like change.
