How are our babies doing with eating and separation anxiety?

Hi guys,

I haven't been on that much as Medina has been really clingy and I had a stomach bug. Any other babies going through that? It has become better the last few days, but it was to the point when I walk out the room she cries which was really strange because she was never like that.

With eating, she has good and bad days. It's hard to keep patient. Any babies also having bad eating days? How chunky is the baby food now? What about meats? Medina doesn't like chunky meats, she has small pieces of veggies or fish in her food, rice or spaghetti, she eats fruit on her own e.g. a peach, nectarine - messy but she has to learn.

Medina turn one on the 9th June. Can't believe how time flies! We're inviting some babies/toddlers over, not too many so that Medina can have some playmates. Anyone else celebrating???

Hope everyone is well. Take care :-)

Lochy eats everything but he got teeth young so he has quite a few now (at 10.5 months) so he can munch up everything pretty well.

He has super seperation anxiety. It got better once he crawled cause now he just follows me LoL. If he's not tired he will go to most people but if he is at all tired he just wants Mom. A couple days ago he screamed at and pushed away my boyfriend (who has been involved since before Lochy was born) cause he wanted me! He is such a Moma's boy. I don't know how he will survive day care this fall :S

Jeremy's eating has gotten alot more exciting since he has more teeth! He's not a picky eater at all. He's still a texture boy but if he likes the taste he works around the texture.LOL. As for seperation forget it he only wants myself dh or his granmothers. We have tried so many times leaving him in the daycare at the gym we joined and he goes into a full blown panic attack. He lasts about 10 mins and then it's all over. It's a just a phase my middle one went through it too. I think once Jeremy starts walking he will be much happier and more excited to play w the kids etc. He's crawling and almost pulling himself up he's too cute! Congrats to all you ladies and how well your babies are doing!

Hugs,
AP

James eating habits are always up and down, depends on if he is teething or not. If he is teething he will not touch food just formula. i do a mix of pureed food with chunks on it also at times I chopped chicken, read meat, fish in small pieces and put in on his chair tray and he nibbles at it.
Still not getting the hang of sippy cup, don't know what else to try to encourage him to use it. He only has 2 bottom teeth and 1 on the top, so will see.
Today we are going to try chunks of tofu.

Iliana will be 10 months on the 3rd.  She pretty well eats everything we eat for dinner.  The only food she will take by spoon now is yogurt.  Otherwise, she wants to do it all herself.
As for separation anxiety, she cries half the time when I leave the room.  It's worse when she is getting tired.  She does pretty well around strangers.

JT eats baby food still as well, I feed him what we eat sometimes but it is just easier to feed him the baby food. In the last few days he has been eating way more then what he was too. He used to eat one jar of 3rd foods for each meal. But when I feed him his dinner he has been eating at least 2 jars which seems like a lot to me but if he sees me getting ready to clean up after the first jar he starts to cry so I feed him the 2nd until he finishes. As for Seperation anxiety he has been doing the same thing. Crying if either I or dh leaves the room or just following us around. He doesn't have stranger anxiety thank goodness.

Cash does the same thing.  He will cry, but if someone is in the room with him he will usually get over it pretty quickly.  But sometimes he just gets sooooo upset until I come back and scoop him up.  I'm pretty sure its just a phase.  Cash loooves people (esp other babies/toddlers) so the stranger anxiety is not an issue with us either.
Cash will eat anything I put in front of him!  The problem is mostly I'm still putting purees (chunkier) in front of him.  It is soooo easy to make and freeze the purees, but I have found if I try to freeze the steamed veggies and fruits cut up in chunks that they aren't as tender when I reheat them....  Kind of time consuming and since DH and I both work crazy schedules the purees are sooo much easier.  DH and I don't really eat healthy enough to just give him what we eat, so that is a hurdle I am going to have to get over so we can all eat the same things!
Cash will be one on July 1st.  Can you guys believe our babies are almost a year old already?!?!?  I haven't made any firm plans yet - gotta get on that - but we plan to just do a small party with family and a few friends.

Joel will be 10 months on Friday .. He is eating all people food.  He eats whatever we are eating.  Joel also has the problem that sometimes if I leave the room he will cry until I come back.  He doesn't do it all the time but I would say he does it 3/4 of the time.  He doesn't have stranger anxiety though anyone can talk to him or pick him up and he doesnt' care.  We are going to have two parties for Joel when he turns one.  One the saturday before his birthday with family and then the saturday after his birthday for his baby/toddler friends.
