Gestational age? no lmp

Hi  I was just wondering i have just had my second scan and was given a gestational age of 15 wks + 2 days whicg matches exactly with my first scan. As I have no LMP due to having PCOS i wonder is this actually the fetal age they have given me? so the baby is exactly 15wks +2 days old and was conceived middle of october.

I agree with DKL I was given an original due date of jul25 and now it's the 20tth. The baby is measuring bigger which means I ovulated earlier. The dr's usually have a 5 or a 6 day window where they add or take off of your edd. Best wishes to you and good luck.

I dont think that you can really go by size of the fetus too much - every book states a different size for each week and babies are born at different lengths, the lady that did my sonogram said the baby was 13cm - but my book said it should only be 10-11 cm for that week, every baby grows differently and has different growth spurts - hope this helps

I'm exactly a week behind that...I'm 14 weeks 2 days, due August 4th. My LMP was 10/29/08 and I conceived on 11/10/08. So, if we are a week apart, you most likely conceived some time around 11/03/08 - 11/05/08. Your due date would be July 28th, I believe. When you say the baby is 15 weeks 2 days...most of the time that date is going by when your LMP would have been, not the actual weeks since conception. You may want to clarify with your MD when your actual due date is, according to the size, and go from there. Of course, that can be wrong too. I know when I conceived because we were trying and I knew when I ovulated. But my last sonogram said the baby measured at 13 weeks, but I was only 11 weeks. Just a big baby, apparently.

I am 15 weeks today and was trying and Ovualted on the 27th, so you more then likely O'd  anywhere from the 24 through the 26th. darkest is a smart girl!! Congrats to you. The date theygave you is how old the fetus is by messurement. They are normally pretty precise.

well they add two weeks always. So conception actually took place Well I came up with a due date of July 21st for u. Is this right? Anyways if it is then you conceived....
