Sleeping on my belly

I am 15weeks today and keep waking up on my belly. Is this going to hurt the baby? I am used to sleeping on my tummy, but I have been going to bed on my side and as soon as i wake up I flip over to my side, I am just not sure if this is ok.

I am still doing the side/tummy sleeping, it is the only way I am comfy. I know in a few weeks it will be too uncomfortable but for now that is what works.

I talked to my doc about tummy sleeping when I was prego with my first and she stated that it's not going to hurt the babe. Just very uncomfy when you get larger.  I too can't seem to stay on my side.  I must have bad circulation with this pregnancy as I am finding my hips and arms fall asleep quite quickly so I toss much of the night.  Yes, every doc you talk to may have a different opinion.

Thanks everyone! It's crazy! I go to sleep one way the correct way and end up waking up freaking out because I think I'm going to smash my baby, lol. I'm sure it's fine, hope, but some nights I do the half belly half side thing too. I'll ask the doc on wed what she thinks. My belly is getting big, so I am sure this is only temporary. Thanks again

I have been told it can cut off circulation to the baby. It's funny how everybody gets told so many different stories by their dr's.

Yeah, its not going to hurt the baby. It will become uncomfortable though. When it does u'll move. I still do this half stomach and half side sleep deal. Only way i can get comfy

It won't hurt anything...but soon enough you won't *want to sleep on your tummy because it is uncomfortable. I used to be a stomach sleeper, too...but when I was pg with my son I got out of the habit when it got uncomfortable, and never have gone back to it.
