First I'd like to say congratulations to everyone here. We did it!!!
I'm due on July 1st. We been ttc for 3 1/2 years now with one chemical last year. I'm a little worried but things are going much better this time so I'm very hopeful and getting more excited every day.

We have the same due date!!!
I had a miscarriage too. and i'm happy to be pregnant again. Are you getting tested weekly? I am, they want to make sure my numbers only go up, and so far everything is perfect. But then again it's really early. I'm so aware of every pull or cramp in my lower stomach is has me so stressed out. I prey everyday for a healthy pregnancy. It's all i want.
Good luck to you!!!

Well I just got my blood work back (posted on another post). Made me more nervous than anything because she was so serious on the phone and wants to make sure things are progressing. I've had a miscarriage before but no one went to these levels to make sure it didn't happen again, so for that I'm at least grateful!

Wow, a lot of people who've been trying for a long time! I tried for 13 months and also have PCOS. I used Clomid for two cycles and then said, "Forget this! I'm done!!!" I started working out and BOOM! Got pregnant!!! So exciting. I wonder if stopping Clomid all of a sudden just makes your body do what it is supposed to do?!

joy - so far my symptoms have been steady but I'm prepared for them to be off and on.  I just went to my Dr. for an initial, "yes you're pregnant" and to get my papers for blood work.  Now I have to do all the blood work and go back in two weeks.  I also have to call the midwife.  There already seems to be so much to do!  I can only imagine what it's going to be like in a few months!  So exciting.

How is everyone today?

aweeonetolove, I have symptoms that come and go. My breasts aren't painful or sore but they're tingly and heavy. Everyone is so different so it's hard not to wonder why you're not puking when someone else is!

Glad your doctor got to see you today! Did you get your blood levels tested or something?

Like I have said before - I wish I were vomiting and felt like he** so I could be sure the baby was doing well!  Symptoms for me are sore bb's, and periodic dry heaving.  I feel a little woozie on and off during the day.  The crampy/pinchy feeling I was having is going away and that helps the m/c fear.  My due date is 7/4/09.

Isabelle: Yeah!  Two Canadians in addition to all these fantastic souls!  Woohoo!

Joy - Thanks, I finally got ahold of my Dr. and they're squeezing me in today because I'm so nervous.  I think you're right. I got confused for a moment and am in my 4th week.  My due date according to the calculator is July 17th.  We're pretty sure of the conception date so that helps a little (Wink).

Everyone: Does anyone have symptoms?  I have barely any.  Just the slightest of tender bbs.  Although today I walked to the grocery store and it was blaring hot inside.  It made me feel just the slightest bit faint.  I remember how faint I felt in my previous pregnancy.  I hated fainting!  But I'd rather be pregnant and fainting all the time than not be pregnant at all.

aweeonetolove, just contact your doctor and let them know! They'll schedule an appointment for you. You're probably in your 4th week. You can use a "pregnancy calculator" to determine your due date and how far along you are!

Hi Everyone,

We just found out were pregnant and I think our due date is July 17th.  I haven't seen my Dr. yet and am trying to get an appointment.  I'm so excited that there are other ladies in the same boat!  It all feels so unreal to me right now. I barely feel pregnant, maybe I should write that I don't feel pregnant.  And I'm so afraid of getting too attached to the wee one and having a m/c.  I had one m/c about 9 years ago and really don't want to go through that again.  I'm counting down the days until my wee little one is safe.

Isabelle, to answer your questions:
On determining the sex:  I really want to know the sex. I know it's horrible and I'm the only one of my friends who will have found out but I'm utterly impatient and don't want to call my baby "It" after he/she arrives. I love the 'surprise element' and wish I was that patient but I want to start calling my little one by it's name as soon as possible.

On breastfeeding: I plan to breastfeed.  Hopefully it won't be too much trouble. I know it can be so painful when first figuring it out.  I want to breastfeed for as long as possible.  Here in Canada, the Pediatrician's recommend doing it until your child is at least two years of age.  But who knows, maybe I'll be one of the ladies who can't breastfeed at all.

To everyone:  A big hearty congratulations!  And one question: I have no clue as to what to do now!  What can I expect over the next few weeks?  My AF is two days late so I've just started my Fifth week (is that correct?).  I'm going to buy some better vitamins and walk over to the Dr.'s after this message.

OMG! Our stories are like identical almost. I did two rounds of Clomid and said, "FORGET IT! I'm done feeling like a psycho!" So I started working out and BOOM! I got a BFP on Halloween. Hilarious. We're like twins from far away!

Anyway, I breastfed my two girls BRIEFLY. First one for a couple of weeks and the second one for a couple of months. Reason I stopped? Because I had to use shields and those are a temporary means of helping with breastfeeding. I don't feel like my girls lack for anything because they had formula later.

Um, I will try to nurse this one, too. I always like to give things a try and if they don't pan out then there's always formula!

Hi! Excited to be here! Just like JoyRenee, I'm also due on July 9th so this should be a fun ride! And I also used Clomid for many months and this was the 1st month that we stopped using it and just said forget it... we were going to do IVF in december but life had others plans...

I have my 4th and last beta HCG this friday and a vaginal U/S to make sure it's not ectopic and then I'm off to the obgyn regular path...

This is so exciting! It's my second (my son will be 4 when baby no.2 comes) but I don't think I remember how to swaddle or change diapers... I know I don't remember the sleepless nights.. ayayay! I'm getting old for that!

Any of you plan on breasfeeding? Who here wants to find out the sex of the baby? Why?

I'm asking because we chose NOT to find out for my 1st one and it was a fabulous surprise... but the 2nd time around, I sorta want to plan and stuff... what's your take on it?

let's support each other

You'll be just great, Sara! I think you feel scared no matter if it is your first or your 12th child. This will be baby #3 for us and I just started thinking about all the diaper changes, the newborn stage, etc. It's really not that bad! I miss it a lot and can't wait to have a new little person in our home!

Happy to join the group!  My due date is July 4th too.  I have a little girl (she is 7 1/2 now) and since then, 5 m/c's and 1 chemical pregnancy.  This time I got pg using clomid.  Hope things go better this time. My first ultrasound is at 7 weeks (Nov. 13th) since I have a high recurrence of m/c. Seems like such a long time to wait!  Looking forward to good news from everyone....

Oh I KNOW, Kels! It's going to be one hot summer. I'm already larger than I used to be because of my past pregnancies so the added baby weight is going to make it all soooo interesting!

Congrats Joy! I am due July 4th...also subject to change. Lol. Had m/c three years ago, so obviously worried, but trying to stay positive and take one day at a time. I just hope I don't have horrible heat flashes next summer, I might have to live in the bath tub.
