no I was not able to find the toolbench online, what a bummer.
These are wonderful ideas girls!!!! Thanks so much - I have looked at a of them and love them! I also have decided to get Cash the Silly Town playset. I go on a website that my insurance offers for new mothers and all the girls there are talking about how much their kids love it. Can't remember the name exactly, but I got it at Toys R Us. As you guys come across other neat things please share!
eternidad----did you manage to find the toolbench online????
Thanks for the ideas! It's hard to gauge what Jack will really like! Go fig his $1.99 Target rattle is his all-time fave. We were in Target the other day and I held up one of those plush toys (a dog) that made different sounds, lights, and songs when you pinched their paw, feet, etc. ... like ABC's etc. Jack lit up when I hit the buttons. So I think that'll be on our list. That learn to crawl ball looks pretty awesome, too. He REALLY needs some of those foam puzzle piece floor mat things....we have all hardwood and I keep having to lay out a comforter and then a blanket for him to wiggle around on. Anyhow, keep the ideas up! I love hearing what the other bubs Jack's age are into. He's finally tall enough to be in his jumparoo. He's getting bored in his bouncer...needs more stimulation! <3 Heather
Dani- how great is that Colter has his own real life horse, so nice. Pretty sure he will still love playing with the toy one too.
Sasha- thanks I am going to look it up on th internet now.
You guys are the greatest.
Ok,although Colter has his own real life horse, we just got him this awesome rocking horse that moves his head and makes noise.
Going to look up the Laugh and Learn tool bench now...
Eternidad--It's called the Laugh and Learn Tool Bench (sorry....) and I ordered it from Toys R Us.
O.K now I am confused, what is the sight and sound tool bench, it sounds good but can't find it anywhere?
oooo, forgot about the touch and feel books, I need to pick some of those up.
Never heard of the learn and crawl ball but am going to find it!
Thanks for all the ideas!!
these are pretty nice list,
I already have some of the items, the move and crawl ball, teethers, touch and feel books, rocking horse, learning farm from fisher price, high chair, Baby einsten DVD, CD, little barn and farm and have to say theyy are all great gifts, we got lots of stuff from friends and family between his baby shower and his birthday. So I highly recommend them too.
Th eidea of the baseball bat and tee, is great, sight and sound tool bench and your baby can read is pretty good too.
Iliana is getting:
move and crawl ball.....pretty cool....recommended by a friend (from Toys R Us)
sight and sound tool bench (picked out by hubby)
2 teethers
a couple of sweaters
shirts from Cabelas from her grandparents
Touch and Feel books
Not sure what else. At this point, she doesn't need a whole lot as everything I had for my first DD has been passed down. Thought I would get her a few of her own things. I am sure the list will grow.
Let's see. Colter is getting
the fisher price learning farm (highly recommended by a friend)
your baby can read
rainforest high chair
a horse blanket for his horse (his Dad added that one to the list)
the little barn and farm animals from fisher price
a baseball bat and tee (it's for around 6 months)
a rocking horse
some more DVD's
just got baby einstein
and then whatever else my family is getting him and I am sure whatever else his Dad insists every little boy needs...
He has TONS of clothes since i lived 45 minutes from the outlits and it was where my closest grocery store was so I shopped all summer LOL!
I don't know what tp get for James, he is so little and usually I am always buying him stuff all the time. I forgot telling we also have a Sophie giraffe we received as baby shower gift and you are RIght he also loves it, the best teether ever.
Maybe I should buy him more clothes, right now he is getting so big that all his clothes are getting small on him, I have been buying him 12 months old clothes, bc he is quite long and skinny so he has outgrown the ones from 6-9 months already.
