I had a miscarriage in March and I am now 16 weeks. I began telling everyone about a week ago. As far as prenatal vitamins I was given a prescription by my doctor and only pay the 5.00 co pay. But my last pregnancy the girl in the doctors office gave my a 9 month supply of prenatals so talk to them and see what they can do for you.
Hi..Thanks 4 responding ..My OBGYN gave me a T least 2 months worth of free samples ..And I'm shocked yours didn't even mention it ..Maybe you u shop around for another dr...my first dr was very inconsiderate of my time..and was always in a rush..so I could never get my questions answered..but I do love my current dr..Currently , I'm no longer nauseated ..but I never really have an appetite...but I know I have to eat...so I get something .and it usually takes less than 2minutes for me to eat it...No one else seems to notice that I am ..and I'm thinking I'll tell everyone after my next appointment on Monday...
PS no recommendation on prenatal brands...my OB/GYN never even mentioned prenatals to me!!! And I didn't think about it until it was way after the critical period for taking it. I cannot stand my OB/GYN office.
Congrats on your pregnancy and your good first trimester screening results. My due date is June 28 and I just got back the first screening test results which were okay (not great, but better than for my age) - I'm trying to not stress about that. We've told our immediate family and a few friends but not extended family and friends. I don't feel ready to tell people yet because I really don't feel pregnant yet. Ugh! I have a couple minor symptoms but I just don't have "that feeling." I too had a miscarriage before. I'm just going to wait until I FEEl more pregnant to tell the rest of my friends, etc. Good luck to all June moms!
