Doc Appt update

I had my ultrasound this morning they measured the baby and the perinatologist said she is 7lbs 2oz WOW! I asked him how accurate he was and he said within a 1/2lb...and he also went on to say that I'll probably go within the next couple weeks, and if I dont I wont be a happy camper because as we all know all the baby is doing is getting BIGGER!  I did lose some of my plug this morning but they didnt check my cervix so I dont know if Im dialated or not.....so far Im 35 weeks 3 days, baby is measuring 38 weeks 3 days and I have gained a total of 30lbs!  I have an appt with my midwife next Wednesday

o.k. this is scary, coz I'm 35wks 4 days and my next appointment is on Saturday, I've been looking forward to the U/S but i haven't thought about oversize babies, so what happens if they tell me he's measuring 39wks? i simply won't accept it!! I'm with you energy train.

Hopefully they are wrong!! They told me Jaden was over 8 pounds at 36 weeks and I delivered him at 39 weeks exactly and he was 7 pounds 9 oz. so I think they really can be off by more than a 1/2 pound either way as I had a friend who delivered at 34 weeks and was told her little one weighed 4 pounds 6 oz and he only weighed 2 pounds 7 oz when he was born so I think you have to take everything with a grain of salt! Mine is measuring 3 weeks big on ultrasound too!  We'll all survive- and hopefully not have to have too many stitches!!!  Good luck!

Right there with you sweetie....6lbs at 34 weeks.  Her head is measuring 36-39 weeks.  Please lord....let us not have to have reconstructive surgery on our you-know-whats...
