its horrible...i had to go again to the Dr today because i got PUPPS really bad last week and i pretty much havent slept since and it wont go away, just gets worse....but she said to straighten my back when i feel like i cant breathe, like sitting up right in perfect posture as to take any pressure the baby is putting on your lungs away.....i tried this today and it helped for about 12 seconds before my daughter shoved her foot up under my left rib because i gave her too much space...lol...you just cant win ;)

welcome to the club hon! at first i thought i was just out of breath or tired. then it became more frequent, told my doc, and he says to sit up, stop whatever i'm doing, and BREATH!, it's actually c'mon in pregnancy, but when it gets too long and too frequent you might need to contact the expert, cos it means u may not be getting enough oxygen for you and baby which is really harmful. take care.lol

I have had this problem for about 4 months now, i have been to my OB, my PC and a cardiologist right after it started and the OB said its normal, i didnt agree, the PC said "hmmm i think an OB needs to see you" and once again(since i already saw her) i didnt agree...and then i went to the cardiologist...i wore a looping heart monitor for a whole month and got alot of rapid heart recordings, the dr said i have tachycardia, nothing i could do except stay off my feet and increase my salt intake and my water intake...HORRIBLE for swelling...but i just went back last week and hey said im doing alot better, cant say i feel like i am, i swear my heart is gonna race right out of my chest and it gets worse when i lay down! Obviously you totally know how this feels..awful...the only thing you can do is increase water and stay off your feet, just know that its almost over and while we are all tired of hearing "its soooo worth it in the end", i know this to be the truth so hang in there and keep on drinking!!!! (water that is) :)

Im there! He dropped head first a couple wks ago and that seemed to help the breathing some....but at times I have shortness of breathe none the less. Its common my doc said...so Im doing my best to keep my "pillow pile" at nite to stay comfy and try to get rest. Im still working (UGH) and frankly exhausted from it....its stressing me out! But Im dealing with it for about 4 more weeks (if I can).

I know what you mean.  I feel the same way.  My heart races and skips beats, but it is usually in the evening.  But the breathing thing is an all day everyday thing.  And I have a muscle right under my boob that feels like it is being ripped away from ribs.  It is driving me nuts!!  But atleast we are getting close!!  Good luck to ya!!
