Do you have your nursery ready yet?

I’m currently 30 weeks and 4 days and I have NOTHING ready =0(
I still need to:

Re-patch a huge hole in the wall that was there before we moved in
Repair any small holes throughout the entire room before we paint the walls
Paint the walls
Paint the ceiling, since the people that lived here last left paint marks all over the ceiling
Shampoo the carpet
Buy the crib
Buy the changing table
Buy the Dresser
Buy the bedding set
Put all the furniture together

I’m beginning to think that I am not going to have the nursery all set to go by the time lil Julian arrives ugh! We are going to start the nursery this weekend and hopefully by the time Monday rolls around (when I hit 31 weeks) we will have all the walls patched, and painted, and the ceiling painted too. We do have a whole bunch of baby stuff already though that is just in the closet right now that needs to be set up Just curious when everyone else got there nursery all set, and how far along you are =0)

Thanks for sharing!

I have been having anxiety about this!!  Since we are having another boy, we are using Taylor's nursery for the baby, which will be a snap to put together (just organizing clothes/closet, etc) BUT in order to move Taylor into his "big boy bedroom" we have to do A LOT as in flooring, painting, new window, duct work to the heating vent....and we havent' even STARTED......yikes....

And we had to move a TON of stuff out of that room because it was being used for storage...I have almost finished that job, but not all the way, so I feel your pain, claud!!

I voted 28-30 weeks. First time around I didn't have the room set up until AFTER I had the baby since she slept in a bassinet in my room for a while. But this time I decided to get it all done beforehand so that I don't have to worry about it. I still have to get the mural up on one of the walls but other than that everything is done. I just have to see what I get for my baby shower (oh and buy a mattress for the bed!). I plan on having her start sleeping in her room about 2 weeks after she is born. Only because I know that they start sleeping through the night better if they are not in your room. We'll see about that one though!

I do not have anything ready; the nursery room which was being used as the storage room is filled with junk! I do not even know where to begin and even though I am very excited about her arrival I just cannot seem to motivate myself to go thru all that stuff. I think I am just going to get those big black trash bags and start throwing stuff away.
My DH keeps bugging me to do it.

I do not have any furniture and her clothes is scattered between my in-laws house and our house. I hope to get this organized before my mom and sisters have my baby shower because if I do not I will be in big trouble.

EmsMom07- our list looks a lot like yours...we need to paint and patch and get the carpet cleaned as well. But on a good note I do the colors picked out and also the mural that will go on the wall.

Oh now I am stressing out :-(

I have all the furniture set up and the walls painted and all the stuff my mom and I have bought is put up. Now I am just waiting on my showers to get everything else and put it up. I am thinking about having one of my godmothers paint pooh on the wall of the nursery. Other than that everything is done.

I'm 28 weeks tomorrow and we've had many things set up for a few weeks now....I'm an impatient type of person though and my mom offered to paint the room before she got surgery done on her hand.
We still have yet to put the trim up on the walls but other than that it's pretty much ready for when I get stuff from the baby shower.

I voted before 28 weeks because that's when we had it set up for our first.  This time around all we need to do is change the toddler bed back into the crib setting.

And the bedding set, you might even get that at a baby shower, we got all of our bedding for the crib from one of the baby showers I had.

A lot of times if you have the crib delivered they'll also set it up for you too, so that's nice :)  The changing table we had only took me about an hour to set it up.
